What's the saying? Always the bridesmaid, never the bride?

Once again we play "well" in a high importance match and lose. Sick to death of it, and it doesn't look like it's changing.

We don't have any steel in midfield; no bite. Dier is missed, but he's not enough. Sick of Eriksen's lack of effort and his refusal to tackle and put in a proper shift covering his fullback.

Others look like they haven't recovered since the World Cup. So glad we don't have another tournament this summer so Kane and co will get a proper rest. Oh...

Current form: LLDLL.

That is fucking pathetic.

And all since our lord and saviour Harry Kane came back into the team. Before that we were flying.

I'm not saying it's his fault but the dynamic of our play changes completely. Kane, Eriksen, Alli all on the slow side and that's made infinitely worse when Eriksen is out of form.

I don't want to be a downer but this year has been arguably the most disappointed I've felt about a Spurs season, purely because my expectations have been raised higher than they were when we were languishing in mid-table back in the day.

I can't help feeling that we've missed our opportunity to do something special and it honestly breaks my heart. We need some serious investment and luck in the summer to help us recover and save this situation.

If only Son had run the other side of Sissoko making a harder decision for the defender and at least letting Sissoko run to the right where a shot would be *more likely to hit the target.

I honestly believe and I have been saying it for a long time that Lloris plays half cut. No other explanation, he plays like he's fucking pissed... Fuck off, seriously fuck off.

Well at leat we didn't get battered like you predicted pre-match!!!

I said 3-1 or 2-0, I hardly said we were going to get battered. In the end it was one goal different from what I predicted.

Seems we may start Wednesday's game from 5th space.
I love how our team felt the pressure of Liverpool's title race for them.

With a run of form like this, there's only one person to blame, and that's Pochettino.

Not really. Blame could be levelled at the chairman, the playing staff as well as the manager and his coaching team. This season's been a difficult one for many reasons, to level it squarely on Poch isn't fair.

Yeah, we screwed Bales career good and proper.

He failed with Spurs didn’t he? In fact his last ever game was him scoring a worldy only to find out we’d lost out of top 4 to Arsenal!

Thanks for exactly proving my point!

The last few games have been nothing short of disgraceful. This season should’ve been one of jubilation with moving home but it’s been a fucking nightmare. Not strengthening our squad in 2 windows is beyond retarded and could well see us slip to 6th. We’re going to lose out on top4 & get our arses royally handed to us by city :poop::poop:

In one fell swoop we could have missed out on the Champions League and handed Liverpool
their first title since 1990.

Now that, that would be Spursy......
