That and Matip surely coming back into the lineup. They also have Nathaniel Phillips, who I believe is the equivalent of us playing Rodon. I think it’s their midfield that’s their weakest link due to injuries.

Quite annoying this is on amazon...

It is annoying - the picture quality really isnt great. The ball always looks a tad fuzzy like the camera is always trying to catch up with play. It actually gives you a bit of a headache

We can get at their back line, it's always been susceptible to players running in behind but have had the pace of Gomez and the fact that Van Dijk is so damn good, now they haven't got either player we surely must fancy our chances. Also without Thiago I think they're going to struggle to create against a deep line.

Interesting game, don't want to get too giddy because although they have had some poor away results they've also smashed Leicester and Wolves who are no slouches.

In saying that... Atalanta beat them 2-0 at Anfield in the UCL...

They are obviously a very good team, but they have only won 2 of their last 5 league matches and aren't playing that great at the moment. They will be up for it, but a draw (and even more if things go our way) is certainly possible.

Harry Kane is the only Tottenham player that would get into Liverpool's team, according to Graeme Souness. "Liverpool are the real deal in every department and Spurs are still a long way off that."

I think we're going to win this one. If Klopp plays his normal game we could tear them up in the spaces behind. No Gomez or VVD. If Matip is missing too they may have Fabinho and Henderson as their centrebacks.

if we somehow managed a win it would be monstrous and i believe jose would then just make us uncatchable. i see it being easier with jose to lead from the front than play catch-up, we just need a break from the pack and some breathing space.

Bitter, moustachioed, questionable politics.

Enough about me, Souness is a right **** ain't he?!

I see a response from Liverpool following the disappointment on Sunday, they would have expected to beat Fulham whereas our game v Palace was a little more challenging. Our defence has riden it's luck in recent weeks (Palace = Eze hits post, miscued shot from 7 yards, header that went just wide and should have been on target and v Woolwich bong-bong heads over, Lack'a'Talent header well saved by Hugo). I think they will do us good and proper, 3-0 I am afraid. One of them a penalty. Will be delighted to be proven wrong, but still don't think Jose has all the players he needs for us to maintain a season long challenge.

My Birthday tomorrow. The plan was a nice meal out with the Mrs but due to Tier 3 now the plan is FIFA and beers in my pants from noon before some drunken TV shouting for the kick-off.

COOOOOOYSSSSSSSSS

Seems a waste, why wouldn't you just drink them. ?? o_O

Not as nervous as against Citeh and Chelscum TBH, perhaps expectations have been levied over the years we couldn't get anything at all from Anfield.

But really really wish we can win one over them, regardless of what happened, just to see this jammy and irritating where club, manager, players and their fans cry salty tears.

Its my birthday tomorrow and generally the spurs players do not realise that - remember getting hammered by Liverpool 5-0 (Andre Villas Boas last game in charge) on my birthday several years back. I apologise to you all in advance but from memory we generally do not win my birthday games

That said we did snatch the last minute winner at Wolves last year so maybe times are changing...
