I hate this fixture too, they seem to have a hold over us that means most of the time, no matter how well we play they get something out of the game. The Wembley 4-0 aside of course.Always hate this fixture. I can only remember one victory at Anfield, a 2-0 win which was a dead rubber if I recall
We could have won comfortably against Palace if we'd continued the way we started and not fallen back thereby restricting the number of chances we created. We must not do the same against Liverpool, at the moment they still have their best strikers so why play to their strengths and defend? We should play on their weaknesses, at the moment it's their defence, so we should attack. Our defence will still be strong.
If we create chances we'll score them.
So you're saying the complete opposite to me ?.Thats how Poch failed nearly each game against them.
If we play attack vs attack, they have all the quality, space and pace in the world to beat us.
Manchester City or Chelseas strength is attacking as well, how has that worked out for them?
I think its important that we look all the time dangerous on the counter. Give them the ball, stay close to make it hard for them to break us down, and try to get Kane and Son in quick transitions in promising positions.
Can’t you just sign up for a free trial and cancel it right away?Quite annoying this is on amazon...
4-3-3 against Liverpool. Speed and width.
2011 van der Vaart screamer and Modric penalty?
I remember being there. One of my rather rare away trips.
Really hope we can get a result. That would be a statement.

I look at their midfield of Henderson, Jones and Wijnaldum and feel we should be able to compete with the players we have. Add to that their defensive issues I think we have a strong chance of getting something there. Of course they have a phenomenal home record but even that had to end at some point. Why not us?
I think some of you are wildly optimistic in terms of how we'll approach this game.
It'll be same XI that featured against City, Chelsea and Arsenal and much like Chelsea, we'll be happy with a 0-0 which keeps parity with Liverpool leaving us still top on goal difference and I for one will gladly take that in the circumstances.
Henderson may have to play as a makeshift CB given their injury worries at the back.
The problem for Leicester (and more specifically Brendan Rodgers) is that February, March, April and May exist. I wont care if they go top in the week, as long as we don't lose. We can go back above Leicester at the weekend! If Leicester win they'd be top in that scenario, but I get your point.
