I struggle to understand why the person filming the incident thought it was a good idea to share it on social media. I mean I hate pets, but I wouldn’t do the kicking or the sharing it as a funny video.

we just have to face it that this world has too many sadists and idiots and in some cases combined.

Because they're fucking morons. It'll be interesting to see what punishment he gets, if any.

Some people are like that.

A number of years ago I took a NMW job in a garage after I had a bad wave of depression and decided to change my career. I saw everything in that job, from casual racism to borderline psychopathic tendencies.

One guy was quite boastful of how he'd skinned a neighbours cat and put it in the bin because he didn't like them. People like that tend to socialise together tbh. Not even including the fact that his friend (I assume, filming) is probably as good as paid to kiss his ass, and would likely find anything funny to gratify him.

Worse to be doing that in front of your kids

I'm not even going to watch that video. Can't stand that kind of cruelty, really makes me feel sick.

The **** needs a fucking slap.

Hope he's prosecuted and released from WHU, never to play for another club again. Question also over whether he should be allowed to see the child in the video, assuming that's his kid.

Not watching the video. Sounds like it was a Bengal cat. Like don't buy what is basically a slightly domesticated wild cat and then get pissed when it makes a mess in your home.

Vile. Absolute scum. There’s something not right about people who are cruel to animals.

It’s not even like the cat did something naughty (which still doesn’t give anyone the right to hit it) but it just makes it even worse that it looks like they were kicking it, chasing it aggressively and slapping it hard for ‘fun’.

What an absolute ****. Hope he suffers for this.

The way a person treats animals tells you all you need to know about them.

Evil prick. Hope he gets prosecuted and certainly hope he doesn’t step foot in the Prem again at least.

Involving the kid by making it hold the cat makes it child abuse too.

From what I could tell from the video, he's going apeshit at the cat being on the countertop (good luck with that - it's the first place you look for a cat!)

I think the kid was putting it on the counter top, so that's why he slapped it. Not at all excusing him, but I don't think the kid was being made to hold the cat.
