I know its early days...but they have an awful run of fixtures sandwiched with some European qualifiers. For a squad that looks stretched already.

Love to see it.

Yeah - Just heard West Ham start their ECL campaign tomorrow night with the return leg next week !
That means they have to play 4 games before we meet them on Weds 31/8 - we will have just the two !
.
So not fair LOL ?

Got a little but of interesting info about Moyes.

A player who returned to his old club to visit his ex-colleagues told them that Moyes' tactical insights and training were outdated and even the coaches at his previous club were more intune/more interesting.

It doesnt surprise me. Moyes methods are simply get the ball forward quickly, run the channels and get crosses in. He has added some pressing to that to make sure teams get boxed in when they have players forward.

But he still relies on a low block and getting players behind the ball all over the field.

Their defeat versus City showed me that they'll struggle this year. Same tactics but missing something.

And that's the issue with Moyes, there's not much there after his basics fail.

I do really like Rice but it’s a bit worrying that his coaching comes from Moyes and Southgate. His potential is massive but he needs to get under a progressive coach and to play with better players.

He'll turn 24 during this season and I really hope for his sake he moves for the reason you state. He's excellent but needs a move and better coaching to go up to the highest level.

That sounds like a distant planet.

It's actually a lager brand.

'How fucking tin pot would it be to lose to a club named after a tinny?' I said to my West Ham supporting friend.

'We'll be fine' he said.

'Still, they're not the most tin pot team in the Conference' said I. 'There's even one named after a type of meat'.

'Really?' he said. 'Who's that?

I hope they do not slip up against Viborg FF on Thursday. they are 3-1 up in the ECL qualifiers

Hopefully not, they are going to struggle big time with Sunday / Thursday this season.

You just know they will raise the game against us in a couple weeks though….

Neither of them turned up sadly. Took the piss out of a Liverpool supporter instead... not the same as Arse & WHAM, but he did say we were genuine contenders this season... Gooner would never say that... COYS.
