Without meaning to offend you, you seem to have gone completely nuts with power when it comes to being a mod. Closing down threads at random, rating people's posts with warnings because they have something slightly negative about them, deleting posts by people because you don't think they suit the tone of the thread. All seems a bit excessive.

You're not planning on invading Poland any time soon are you?!

Weird isn't it. I guess watching people get banned and the amount of thing getting reported you have to put a bit more effort in to keep things on track.

If someone starts a thread about positivity and then the usual suspects come in and shit in it instead of staying out of it then I'll do what I can for the OP to keep his thread alive or it will spiral into a decline like the others.

FYI, tonight was a busy night for warnings/bannings and threads like this on a spurs forum are just embarrassing.

I leave it though as it is out of site in gen footy.

It's actually not that bad a thread to be honest.

I'd guess that most fans wqould look upon this as what it is, a light hearted thread, laughing at ourselves..

Yesterday was one of the most humiliating results I've seen. What else can you do, but put your hands up, say well done.. accepting the mocking.

I'm with you. It is TOTALLY embarassing. Scum fans would be on the floor if they knew about this thread. And yet, strangely, my post on page 1 which said this, got 2 WTF's and 2 Doh's, evidently, each from 2 idiots!

There are plenty of threads on here, if we closed them down because some people didnt like the thread there would be no threads at all.

Why do you keep coming in here if you dislike it so much? Just ignore it and use the threads you like instead.

If there is no interest in threads like this then they would quickly move off the first page, if people want to throw insults because they dont like something then you keep pushing it back to the top of the forum....

TM Makes a great point in that many positive threads get ripped apart by knee-jerkers and whiners - so let's at least give them a place to go.

I don't think it's the slightest bit embarrassing. If anything it shows a bit of self-awareness and a knowingness.

There's nothing more embarrassing than a completely deluded football supporter who has no idea when it comes to viewing his own club with the slightest bit of objectivity.

I wasn't referring to you as delusional TM, I was just identifying the people who really do embarrass me when it comes to our support.

'Let's all laugh at Tottenham' was clearly meant as a tongue in cheek, knowing nod to the hypocrisies of laughing at Liverpool etc when their clubs are in a bit of a state. It's perfectly fine. It's not the 'what's wrong with tottenham' thread because it wasn't the intention of the thread starter to begin a post-mortem of our current state. That would be a different thing entirely.

There's no need to be incredibly pious and precious about Spurs 100% of the time. It's not a religion.
