Random question:

Is it possible/legal for Ashley to just dissolve Newcastle and walk away?

He's supposedly been trying to sell them for ages, but can't get it over the line, and he's clearly not welcome there any more and must want to just get rid of the whole mess. Especially now that Rafa has gone, I can't see things getting anything other than worse. So is he able to just cut his losses and shut down the business that is Newcastle United FC like you could with any other business? I.e. can he just sell off the assets, pay off any debts, take the money out and just dissolve the club? Or is there something stopping him from doing that? He clearly doesn't have much of a conscience

Strange move for him to move to China, especially after trying to get moves back to England for years as he wanted to be close to his family. You'd think that he had enough money in the bank to sit it out and wait for another job in England to come along.

What has football come to when you look at £30m for Ayoze Perez and think it's not that much?

Cheap and with the false belief that because they are experienced they are 'safe'.

Can you see Ashley putting in hours and resources into researching a coach that fits their criteria? Nope, he wants a quick fix and Bruce will be relatively cheap.

I think that it depends on what your aspirations are. Under Ashley, Bruce probably just about sums it up - midtable mediocrity is the aim.

For sure! Bruce has bags of experience.
Mourinho is too expensive also ?

Yeah, can you imagine Mourinho being content with £25 million a season as his budget. Oh and being forced to sell a star player pretty much every summer.
