Remember you are talking about the FA here.If this is true why such a delay in the FA charging him ? Seems odd to me unless something else has come to light.
I have sympathy for what Merson said and what he’s been though. But I still think someone betting on football should be punished, it opens the door to all sorts of dodgy stuff like betting on your own games and bookings etc.I have sympathy for him after the Merson doc. Clearly not about money, more chasing dopamine rushes.
Yes, what Tonoli is accused of is close to match fixing.I have sympathy for what Merson said and what he’s been though. But I still think someone betting on football should be punished, it opens the door to all sorts of dodgy stuff like betting on your own games and bookings etc.
I get they’re addicted and I get that they almost can’t help themselves, but it’s not like there aren’t myriad other things they could bet on without getting themselves in trouble like this.

poor fucker and not easily replaced with where they are in relation to FFP. They need to sell to buy and there's's some gaps opening up in their squad.
This was against the Australian League All-Star team.Probably get more money pumped into them for making the Saudi league look so good, now that they can beat Newcastle easily. (Ignoring they played youths)

If Newcastle were hoping to use this tour to grow their brand and find new fans down under, it looks like it may backfire.
Put out a youth team against the A-League All-Stars and got pumped. Wearing the Saudi Arabia kit, too. Deserved.
