Fans have such short memories and zero patience.

Brother in law is Newcastle and he's bemoaning (as is all the fanbase) that they cant spend what they want, and no way to break into the top 6 permanently without huge investment. Reminded him Spurs fans have had to be patient for the last 15 years or so and Man city and Chelsea got a free pass. He seems to forget that just a few years ago they were in the championship against rotherham and Newcastle's budget was 10's of millions (parachute payments) compared to Rotherham who was just a few hundred thousand after been promoted from League one, but couldnt see Rotherham fan's arguments of unfairness

Don't think we'll ever see him play in England again at this rate. He has some serious troubles.

I have sympathy for him after the Merson doc. Clearly not about money, more chasing dopamine rushes.

Just checked the timelines and it was announced he was being investigated by the Italian FA on 18 Oct and then he was banned on the 26 Oct. So it seems like he was at it right up to the point it was announced he was being investigated.

I guess if he stopped at that point and hasn't done anything since they might go a bit easier on him?

I read somewhere that Toney got ages partially because he wasn’t cooperating

Would the FA make an announcement like this if these breaches were known at the time? This seems fresh, almost like something he thought he could get away with as long as he stopped before his ban.

Oh I'm sure they weren't known at the time. My point was just that the last of these dates appears to before he was charged and banned by the Italian FA and if he's kept his nose clean since then I'm sure he'll try to use that fact in mitigation.

Still have to laugh at that Geordie lass who was giving it the big one to a spurs fan at start of season about them having Tonali, Spurs having no Kane and noone to compete with the players they were signing.
