Yea it’s annoying as Liverpool went through a phases of hiring some under par managers like Dalglish, Rodgers, Hodgson etc but Klopp has been amazing and Slot will likely carry on at a very good level for them, let’s hope not but I’m jealous as if not Ange then I really wanted Slot at spurs, he’ll get Liverpool playing very nice football.

As a coach and tactician Slot will have no value for Liverpool, but nor would anyone. I have no idea if he'll help them target the players that could make them good. Klopp was only ever going to be as good as his players and they made stunningly good signings. But they've left or are rapidly ageing now and replacing players of that quality is so incredibly difficult. Losing Klopp is of no significance and hiring Slot is likely to be of no significance. Replacing VVD and Salah is of major significance and is unlikely to be achieved. They've not really been able to replace Fabinho and Mane, hence they aren't really a title threat anymore.
