I just heard some pool fan on TS talk about this, most normal fans would condemn it, say the usual "all teams have these idiots" etc etc and stop there. But not a Pool fan, he went on a rant about the "weight of history the fans carry" and how the entire City will be up in arms.

Its this elevated sense of self-importance that makes me really fucking hate them.

A couple of cousins I spoke with yesterday are not too confident, they've been living a yo-yo of emotions with the Man City results lately. Thinking all the other teams are bending over for them.

As for tonight the general opinion is they want to keep things tight and good enough for the return next Tuesday at Anfield where they are "sure to win"
