Which English players am I meant to be supporting? Milner? Henderson? Dull defensive workhorses!Such a sad world nowadays, probably because of social media, everyone seemingly hating other teams because of their supporters. I can remember when I used to cheer on any English teams in European competitions. We used to have all the fighting and such like at matches but when it came to competitions I'd always support the English team.
Nowadays I'm the same as most and only want to see them lose.
Sad world
"Nobody expected us to be here, but we are because we are Liverpool," said Klopp.
I would keegan love it if they got absolutely battered and made to look like little boys. I'm talking 4/5 - 0.
RM to get the first goal and they shit it and crumble.
Would really be magical.
Don't think it's a sad world. It's just changed. I'm probably of the same generation as you, so I agree with your point about the old days. But these days, why stick to blind national loyalty in football? Especially club football. Our grandkids look at it an entirely different way.Such a sad world nowadays, probably because of social media, everyone seemingly hating other teams because of their supporters. Salah is not going to leave after 1 season, Madrid want Neymar first and if not Hazard and Barca want Griezmann. Nobody is going to fork out for Salah after 1 good season, he will likely cost over 100 mil at this point. Beyond that PSG don’t have the cash and City are going for Mahrez. Nobody else can afford him. I would love him to leave but he will be there for at least another season. What ever he does or doesn’t do in the final will have no barring on any transfer.
Absolutely. In this day and age of so many clubs having foreign owners and teams being full of foreign players, it seems like a nonsense that we are encouraged to have some sort of blind loyalty to other PL clubs competing in Europe. I couldn't care less if other fans supporters back us in Europe. Can anyone imagine a Liverpool fan rooting for us in a European final?Don't think it's a sad world. It's just changed. I'm happily cheering for Real tomorrow. If it were United, City, or Arsenal, yes even Arsenal, instead of Liverpool, I'd probably be rooting for them instead.
Any team playing against Chelsea or Liverpool in a cup knockout has my support.
They're going to win aren't they
They're going to win aren't they
No.
No they're not.
They're going to get found out big-time, because they're up against the most experienced crack, shock-troopers of the Champions League; a team that has been there, done it all and broken records that no other team in the history of the competition has done.
A team that is full of 24-carat winners, led by one of the greatest players of all time, whose drive and ambition for success enables him to produce on the biggest stage, time and time again.
A team that has had the most difficult route to the final, has tasted disappointment along the way, but has still managed to battle through adversity and make it to Kiev.
When the teams walk out on the pitch, one of them will be overawed; the other will consider it business as usual.
I hope u are right bro.....

All BBC radio channels have become Radio Mersey... We never had this last year when we played R Madrid?
