If someone's behaviour is consistently bad then naturally after getting warned and they continue they'll get fired.
Carragher's behaviour in general seems to be to a high standard. Can't think of any instances of him stepping out of line prior to this.
I think he should get punished quite harshly with a suspension and final warning but not fired.
