The item then links to a case study of the commercial benefits of Subway becoming Liverpool FC's 'Official Training Food'.
Finally, on 24 January, a thread entitled 'The Title Race' was started, in which the top four's chances of winning the title were discussed. Unlike the other two, this thread was not started on the Liverpool Board, but rather on the 'General Football and Sport' Board. It's a fascinating mix of hatred, respect and mockery of the top four, but the overriding sense is one of total demoralisation and self-loathing. It's really quite enjoyable.

Arsenal win it, the triangle passing, long sleeve wearing fannies
What the absolute bobbins is going on? That Alex Teixeira fella that Liverpool failed to sign is heading out to China now. Isn't he meant to be in the peak of his career?
When I said they made the correct decision long term, I was meaning more the sacking of Rodgers. I'm not going to write Klopp off just yet, they could get it right in the summer window and with a preseason under his belt, could start to make progress, though I'm starting to have my doubts.Let's wait and see if the owners and fans have the patience for it. I have my doubts klopp will still be there in 2 seasons (after this one) time.
My correct decision comment was in regards to sacking Rodgers, rather than hiring Klopp. If the Liverpool directors think they will challenge for the title in the next few years, with out a major overhaul with how they run things, they are in for a shock regardless of who the manager is.But Klopp is only on a 3 year contract and he's expected to challenge for the title, really in this kind of season where the league is there for the taking I think he would have been expected to do much better.
Like I said elsewhere Leicester have raised the bar, before I would have agreed with you but now the Liverpool board can just turn around to Klopp and say that they've already heavily spent and the players are good enough and it's up to Klopp to get the best out of them, they can just cite the example of Leicester. My correct decision comment was in regards to sacking Rodgers, rather than hiring Klopp. If the Liverpool directors think they will challenge for the title in the next few years, with out a major overhaul with how they run things, they are in for a shock regardless of who the manager is.

I read somewhere they have currently have one of the most expensive back fours in world football....hilarious if true. They could spend another >£100M again this summer and they'll still be playing 3 or 4 of their god awful defence.
Club is jinxed.Work isn't going well, you have to go in at the weekend, your colleagues are under-performing and you've got a meeting with a fat, obnoxious git who gave you right grief the last time you saw him. Oh, and there's going to be a protest too, which will really put a damper on things. Hmm. Time to pull a sicky, I think...

Or, as they put it on RAWK...
"F**k me even the manager's injured!!"
