I don't understand the hate for Mason. Not sure what people were expecting? Do we think Mourinho would have won against City in the final? Do we think that Mourinho would have got us into a higher spot? I don't think so.

Mason was thrown in and had to swim. He has done ok. Some of his subs and team selections have been questionable but when are we as fans ever happy? He has done fine based on the circumstances he has been placed under. Cup final for first game, Kane being a bitch to the media etc etc.

We just beat Leicester again last game. Fa cup winners. With most of us slamming the team selection. We need a manager that can sort us out ffs. If Kane moves then he moves. Relied on way too much over the years.

I would say the win justified the team selection, another selection might have worked better, but today the selection got the result and so in the end the selection was justified. It wasn't a lucky result either. Some people here seem to hate players so much that they are determined to give stick regardless of outcome.

I am definitely that whenever Sissoko, Dier or Winks play. It's best for all 3 that they go so I can find some other scapegoats ?

It’s been a horrible season, and looking like it could be a very painful summer, but just wanted to say big love to all of you on Spurs Community. It’s been a difficult year for many a reason and hopefully we won’t have another like it in our lifetimes but it was a pleasure sharing the few ups and many downs with you all. It’s often been the last bastion of the mildly unstable and Is a real home away from home. Let’s hope next season Levy can do us all a favour and fix past failures. I agree. He’s only finished in the top 4 once out of five seasons in charge of pool and Leicester and he’s choked on the last day of the season twice in a row now. FA cup was impressive but i’d steer clear

I’ve hated on Winks more than most, but he looks reborn under Mason. He had his best game for a couple of years today. He looked terrified under Mourinho. But today his range, and sometimes his accuracy, of passing was better than we’ve seen from any of our midfielders all season. He even ran with the ball a couple of times, and got stuck in. Apart from Bale’s electric 10 minutes, I thought he was one of our best players.
Adele, on the other hand, looked completely lost and off the pace. As did Kane to be honest.
Despite the commentators hating on Sanchez, I thought he handled Vardy pretty well. Though you could argue his style leaves him open to ridiculous penalties bought by canny/cheating forwards.
And I still think Serge Aurier is our best fullback.

Yeah it's hard to admit it they at our level now.....just typing it makes me cringe.... but denting them CL football is very important for us in the long run...

The pricks have truly bottled it.....whatst that saying snatched 5th from the jaws of 3rd.... spen the most time in the top 4 and still couldn't make top 4.

Oh how I long to read what our opponents fans are saying about us thread. Can anyone tell I despise Leicester ..not as much as Chelsea and Liverpool but still despise them.

People see what they want to see whether fans with a bee in their bonnet or commentators with some agenda or other. I thought both Winks and Sanchez did pretty well today but then I'm starting from a neutral position.

I wouldn’t have Mason anywhere near the club. They guy was an average player and will go on to be an awful coach. Tactically terrible, horrible team selection. He can go and manage Hull

I hope he does go off and manage Hull. He's a developing youth team manager who's been offered, and accepted, the opportunity to manage an underperforming, unmotivated, unbalanced Premier League squad at zero notice and has understandably been exposed in a few ways by experienced, trophy laden opposite numbers. None of that means he wont develop into a good manager away from his boyhood club where the pressure must have been huge.

He's not disgraced himself in these nine games, he's just been shown as a relatively naïve young coach. Good luck to him, with all he's been through in his playing career he deserves a break, whether its at Hull or anywhere else.

They're all a bit weak and childlike imo.
