Lennon had an assist today and Lamela's one goal and 3 assists is still better than Lennon and Townsend combined. How sad.

lots of reasons but you can sum them up with with two - too lightweight and weak mentality

"Lots of reasons" means you got only those 2, and based on nothing.

I don't see any difference between Januzaj and Lamela in terms of size and weight.

And weak mentality?? you clearly don't know what you are talking about.
Lamela as an 19 year old at River, was the player that carried the team in a relegation season (the first time in history), instead of older and more experienced players, in an atmosphere you would shit you pants at the door. Played at stadiums were they spit at you through fences when you take a corner, against teams that want to break your leg. Most of our players would be scared as hell if they had to cope with the situation Lamela had to face at River.

Seeing clips of him working out and doing kick ups does start to make you wonder what the f**k is going on. He is an excellent player and I can't see Levy letting Tim keep him out of the squad when we paid nearly £30 million for the guy.

I hate this season

Had to check that because that sounded too crazy to be true... http://espnfc.com/team/squad/_/id/367/league/all/tottenham-hotspur?cc=5739

That really does reflect horrendously on Aaron and Andros. I think Aaron needs to go in the summer and Andros is going to have to really up his game. With regards to Erik, perhaps it's not necessarily a bad thing he hasn't been exposed to this mess of a season and starts completely afresh next season. I'm cautiously optimistic for his future...

I've called the Lamela bashers numerous times on this point, but it seems particularly important to do so today: what's the difference between Coutinho and Lamela? Lamela was a far more productive player (that's an understatement actually) in Serie A than Coutinho, is physically stronger than Coutinho, so why exactly can't Lamela succeed just like Coutinho? It's clear Coutinho is succedding because Rodgers threw him straight in their starting XI from the beginning and let him play countless games. No easing him in bullshit. These players are used to starting games, not coming off the bench. Once we get a manager in who gets that, we'll see the best of Lamela and the people talking shit about Lamela are going to be silenced, just like the Eriksen bashers, come December.

Very poor stats those. Andros scored one and set up two away at Tblisi and set up one for Holtby against Sheriff. Add the goal against Villa plus the penalty win against Swansea(I'm counting that as an assist anyway) and you can see those numbers aren't worth a lot.
