And Moura is utter toilet, he shouldn't be in the starting 11. We need an upgrade on him anyways. Squad player at best.
Utter toilet that got us to the champions league final and scores goals out of nothing like his strike at wolves. He might not be a world beater but even when he is having a off day still puts a shift in much like Lamela.

Definitely got 12-15 goals in him a season . Valuable player in my opinion

Thanks for posting. I’d much rather go off people’s opinions than YouTube highlights because we all know how misleading those can be. One thing is for definite, that celebration has to go if he joins us!
Could become the new Ultimate troll celebration, is like
Him to do it to West Ham right in front of antonio after his fuckfest of a celebration to beat us in our own back yard last year.

Either way, no taller than Piatek in either case so this guy is easily tall enough. My point really is that height isn’t necessarily the main requirement of a number 9, even if it helps.

Nobody disputed that. Some people seem to think he's a target man. If they're expecting a Llorente replacement, this guy isn't it.

Why only 3 and a half years? Seems a bit low.

I've got to admit that I thought he looked older in the video.

I love when people who just obviously don't watch Serie A pass judgement. I don't want him as I like Parrott and if we were going to sign a back-up I'd rather they can play as a winger and a forward like Son - but if we were linked a year ago, the faux experts would have been creaming their knickers.

How about we all just stop pretending we know anything about players because we've just watched a short video of them?

And now I've got to admit that I didn't even watch a video. I just made it up that he looked older.

Seems to be a bit of a transfer triangle here. Piatek to us, Politano to Inter....perhaps Eriksen in as his replacement at inter?

Borini is going to Verona & Sampdoria want Suso on a loan to buy, so Politano will replace them.. Milan are a bit of a mess financially & need sales.. Kessie has been made available too

If Piatek was on our/Jose's agenda regardless of Kane's health then fair enough but I feel this is a reactionary signing that further dilutes our playing squad, clogs up wages and provides another hurdle for what potentially is a much better forward in Parrott.

NEVER!

Much prefer him in the number 10 shirt.

Drives my OCD mad. This is the dream.

More well over the top and totally unwarranted rubbish. We don't have players that are 'utter toilet'. Not one. Now you might not rate him and that's fair enough but if you can't say so without resorting to this kind of over the top crap then maybe you'd be better off not bothering.

This is the issue with pigeon holing players into specific roles in discussions like this. I'd say Shearer and Ferdinand were target men, and in some ways Kane has been too (albeit one of the most complete strikers around). IMHO a player can fit multiple roles, and even then each have their differing strengths and weaknesses and other unique characteristics. For me target man is not tied to immobile giants like Llorente or Crouch, you can have a also target man that is not as tall and a bit more busy and mobile, but still with the aerial ability required for dealing with long balls and crosses. Maybe there is another name for that type of player but I haven't played Champ Man/FM for over 10 years now so don't know.

I can't say I've seen much of Piatek but on the whole it seems like he ticks a lot of those boxes. I think Jose will want someone who will press, contest for long balls, provide simple hold up play, occupy CBs and be a threat in the box. The issue of course is if we can get the midfield and full backs fixed in order to provide sufficient chances for him. I don't think we have created enough for Kane for a while now, but some of that could be down to him being more keen on link up play than poaching these days.

So we might as well play Son as a striker then and buy Zaha or another wing option to cover.
You don’t have to be a target man to be a better 9 than Son. Jose is looking for someone who can play with their back to goal, receive the ball to feet and just generally occupy defenders in a traditional centre-forward manner. That isn’t Son.
