correction.....

Everyone knows that Sky are possibly the worst mainstream "news" source there is.

They set their agenda and generally stick to it, no matter how wild and weird their stories might be.

The UK's very own Fox News.

Maybe we should start a thread on how McDonalds really need to go all out to sign up Cascarino to serve milkshakes at a drive through. See how he likes it when he starts getting job offers from somewhere with few morals with regards to employment.

Brilliant

Someone should send him a McDonalds 'Anthony' nametag. Who knows...he might even see it as a step up from Sky.

We're talking about a guy who fraudulently continued an international career with Republic of Ireland even after finding out he wasn't in any way connected to the country by blood.

I don't think he's gonna have any moral objections to offers of work if he thinks he'll benefit from it.

Sky are like a paddling pool of water left over from the summer; dirty, stinking, stagnent, full of worms and maggots. Generally fucking poisonous but you can't be fucked to go near it.

In the words of Paul Gazza 'We hate sky!'

This is the same ssn who once made asuch a big thing of there so called sources telling them that we were on the way to bacelona to buy puyol! They even had it on the breaking news yellow ticker bar! Ssn is no better than a tabloid news paper now adays. They just make up transfer stories to keep people watching.

Someone should get the new kit line-up with Modders, VDV and Bale and slap a big sticker across it - NOT FOR SALE!
If we let one of them go, it could become a house of cards or thats certainly the impression it might create so personally im with DL.

Can't we all email Sky and complain, threatening to stop our subscrptions? We all know how much they hate people unsubscribing from their services. That must prompt some sort of stop to all this antiSpurs reporting.

It's getting silly really. They're so eager for Luka to join Chelsea it's untrue. They have nothing else to report so they just try and get the ball rolling on Modric rumours. Wankers.

That's like proposing anyone who thinks petrol is overpriced should not buy it from one particular store, etc. - despite everyone agreeing about the situation, and knowing that it would surely make a difference, they just couldn't do it. They couldn't bare to go just one day without the use of their car, using public transport is just unthinkable, so they'll continue moaning but do fuck all about it.

SSN, along with most of the Sky service, is frankly overpriced bullshit, coloured in with crayons. Most of it's serious viewers see it for what it is but, despite knowing it would surely make a difference, they can't downgrade their subscription and live without sports channels. They can't bare to go one day without tuning in, mostly to watch and shout at the screen, knowing they could use the BBC website, or just catch up on a hundred other websites in the meantime, but they won't, they'll just whine on and carry on subscribing.

Frankly, there's a whole lot of whining goes on from us carbon based motherfuckers and very, very little action. It's like an entire species waiting for someone else to make things happen for us, when we used to be such a pioneering race of creatures.

I have absolutely no doubt that his info is coming from Chelsea, they doubtless don't consider the matter closed, Levy does so it is.
I've actually stopped watching ssn now not in protest just because they have nothing to say, all they do is blow up a story we already know about and repeat it all day long.

Same - I actually find I watch SSN a lot less during the summer than at any other time. It turns into that parody 'Broken News' that BBC used to show about rolling news stations having too much air-time and not enough material.

I distinctly recall one transfer window (think it was when we re-signed Robbie Keane a few January's ago) when they went to their Scottish correspondent who was sitting in a room in Glasgow. His 'breaking news' at 5 mins past the deadline was that the 2 moves they expected to happen in Scotland, hadn't happened! That's not news of any kind, let alone the 'breaking' variety.

Until I hear something concrete on here or another source, I tend to avoid it from May until August (except for the highlights of pre-season games).

also the female presenter that everyone is always furiously masturbating over is only just on the good side of average.
