Spurs is actually a good club for getting into the England set up, big enough to get noticed, but not so big that you won't get the chance to stand out, as happens to English lads that go to Chelsea or Shitty.

Ryan Mason is a good example he would not be in the England squad if he was at West Ham or Palace, and he would not be playing regular (or any) football if he was at Chelsea.

Biggest problem for Kane is lack of CL league football. Not sure Bale's star would ever have shone so bright if it had not been for that CL run.

One day Kane might need to move on, but he has not outgrown Spurs yet, and at the moment this is the best place for him.
