It’s a no brainer for me on Nagelsmann as I think he is perfect for Spurs However looking at some of his quotes the one that stood out most was:
“I work like a baker. I mix things, put them in the oven and see if I like what comes out.”
If things go as they have over the last few years at Spurs his cake will look something like this:

Nagelsmann has been my preferred candidate for the job but I’m not really keen on someone who is ‘prepared to re-open negotiations’; it sounds like he’s doing us a favour like Jose and Conte did.

We need someone who wants to be here, who is ready to understand what the club is all about and get passionate about us, not someone who’s ‘prepared’ to take the role for a couple of years before a better option turns up.

I’d be super happy if he joins us but really want him to want to come here.

I wouldn't read too much into that if it's just the wording of the article.

Thing I found interesting is that it's his camp who got in touch with us. If that's true then I don't really think we need to worry about him wanting to be here.

I’d prefer Kompany. What he has done at Burnley in his first year is huge. Played and learned from Pep. Knows the premier league, plays exciting attacking football. Team him back up with with Yaya

He’s perfect for us in this moment.

I was positive he would come the other day. Now I am feeling a bit negative and sceptical that he will come. Hope I am wrong as usual.

He said he wants assurance that he will be properly backed. We all know that’s not going to happen so can’t see him coming.

Really? Conte got given a fortune and we've completely screwed the squad buying him wingbacks.

Nagglesman RB player profile of young upcoming players fits our transfer policy far better than Conte who wanted experienced 30 year olds.

I think the issue is more does JN think its just too big a job to do rather than wether we are well suited, cos on paper we really are well aligned

The only Conte signing was Perisic. He didn’t want the rest; they were investments signings right?

If 'COYS Daniel' wants Spurs to be like Dortmund then this is the appointment to make and the structure to follow.

If he had anything about him he would take the job NOW not in the Summer.
To be fair, it looks like Poch isn't taking Chelsea til June and he's been out of work a lot longer.
I guess some managers just like a fresh start and pre-season that starting in June brings, not walking into a shitshow with a few games left.
Gives them time to assess the squad and get their ideas across, rather than patch up the mess that's been left for you while limping to the end.

Yeah I don't really get why you'd want to go in there and risk things turning sour straight away. Trying to deprogramme conte and jose ball is going to he hard enough over 6 weeks in summer let alone in between games.

New season, fresh start.

Assurances don’t cost Levy anything so he’ll get those IMO, no doubt Conte got assurances too otherwise he never would have taken the job. It’s living up to those assurances that Levy isn’t good at.

I've convinced myself that this bloke is our saviour. I know I shouldn't do it to myself but we all need hope.

I like him because he isn't set to a formation so he will make the most out of what he has , right away were ahead of the game then

Also he is the perfect mix between young project manager and big name that the board like.

Praying we get him in

Didn't know where else to put this but sounds promising. Different journo to that Falk guy but same publication I think.

Unclear however if its Bild Sport which is apparently v reliable. Or the sport section of Bild which is less so haha.
