You always know you got a good deal if fans of the selling club are furious about it. That said, I've seen some absolute weapons calling themselves Spurs fans going to Swansea communities and saying "you got Levied lol". Let's not do that ffs.

Yeah agree that’s poor form, you have to feel for Swansea as their owners are either asset stripping them or just incompetent.
Good we got such a potentially class centre back for an obscenely good fee, but I wouldn’t feel the need to rub their noses in it and in fact would loan them some players as a sign of good will as I’m a big soft got like that.

I thought another couple of clubs were in for him, Wolves for one and talk of even ManU sniffing around but he wanted to come to Spurs.

I wonder what this is based on, considering Godfrey had one very good season in the Championship, stepped up to the Premier League where he did OK, and then got signed by another PL top 8 club.
Not to say Rodon won't be better in 3-5 years, but seems quite a strange comment now.
