There's been loads of articles about this so just picked a random one.

Based on what I saw last season, he would definitely improve our squad if not the 1st eleven

I think he's hard to judge. That team was pretty bad, obviously because they were relegated. He was a standout performer in games like Liverpool but there were other times where you would see clips of Fulham and he looked a little lost. Who knows if that was him or his teammates ?‍♂️

Aren’t Lyon fans fairly scathing of him? It’s possible I read this on a shit website though

He was their record highest transfer fee, lots of high hopes and expectation because of being their record signing, he didnt get off to a great start, however not bad either and he didnt seem to settle whether thats the team or just being a new country

Replacing Dier with him basically gives us the same “leadership vibes” and probably a more solid defender with some upside remaining.

Paratici with his experience in Serie A would know what type of player Andersen is from his time at Sampdoria

In a 352 a back three of Rodin Toby Ben might be OK with Japhet available and one other coming in to supplement or replace.

In that sense I only see one CB coming in.

Edit That's how I see it realistically, rather than idealistically.

And if the one coming in is a really top class CB and a leader we'll be fine.

Definitely has a lot of positive attributes but I worry massively about his lack of pace and mobility, particularly if we play a high line. He will get rinsed if we do.

Think we should be looking at CBs with better pace and mobility.

Would take him as a rotation option, but there are a fair few others who I would have over him.

I like him, great range of passing which is something we miss when Toby doesn't play, he's also a vocal leader which is something this side misses at times.

I liked the link to ndicka more, although would take both of that meant we replaced dier and Sanchez

I don’t know enough about milenkovic to know if he would preferable to both/ either of these guys, but trust paratici/ fonseca would of course!
