Maddison is probably very keen on a move. His great Leicester form in recent months still didn't get him into the England squad.

He has 2 years left at Leicester and they are not even in Europe this year.

You could definitely see him pushing for the club to sell him. As we're on good terms with their agency you could definitely see him being offered to us.

Maybe something like £40m + Winks could do the trick.

Good post bang on. only thing would be a possible lack of game time but the trade off would be playing for a CL side possibly going for the title under a top3 manager in the world playing at the best facilities in Europe. I think if I was him at that stage of my career and an opportunity came up like that I’d go for it.

Plus as has been said on many occasions 5 subs and this tight schedule is going to be a real gamechanger. I think Maddison would really round off our squad in an attacking sense (assuming we get a good RWB as well).

Completely agree! Him + RWB + 2x CB’s would be a 10/10 window and I think we’d have enough for conte to challenge on all fronts then.

I’ve been really wanting to advocate for allowing people to learn from their mistakes and ignorance and I can pretty do that for anyone.

I would be happy if we could pull either off (insert Mick McCarthy Gif), they would be expensive but I'm sure we have the money. This interview has everything I’d want from a player; straightforward, honest, thoughtful answers. Huge confidence with a touch of humility.
The depth in which he speaks - with zero hesitation - shows he’s switched on both as a person and tactically as a footballer. Not many players elaborate on their answers unless pushed.

He may dress like a twat…
He may have said stupid things (about us) as a youngster…
He may play in a position we’re hardly crying out for…

…but I think he’d be brilliant as part of the squad.
