I'm not against Clarke going back to Leeds for another year - kinda hope we've changed our view on loaning young players out tbh

Shame as I would’ve liked him to be around the first team, but if he’s going to play at Leeds that’s better for his development, plus if there was a manger you’d want to loan him too, bielsa would be top

So our first signing in over 500 days will be someone who is being loaned out, have to hope Ndombele arrives shortly after ...

Back to Clarke, this explains the delay from Friday

I'm not against sending players out on loan, but we need to make sure players hit required time training with the club.

Also, they've just signed a couple of wingers on loan so not entirely sure he'll be a regular for them next season either?

Confusing one this.

Him going back there on loan explains perfectly Clarke Snr's tweet about Mills not have a clue what is going on.

I was saying people needed to reign it in a bit, getting wildly over excited about signing a kid with about 6 league starts.

We are operating at a really elite level nowadays, and for players to make it with us they need to be pretty exceptional. The chances of this kid breaking into the side next season are practically non existent. It makes sense for him to stay on loan again, but regardless of whether he goes out on loan or not, I hope he develops brilliantly.

Bit weird if the loan back was just brought up right at the end of the transfer, don't think any ITK's have indicate dro it previously... could be bs

If we don't think he's ready to play then a loan back is the right move. It might only be until January, so we could still see him this season but regardless the most important thing is his long-term development; there's no point having him around to only play with the U-23's. Fully trust Poch's judgement.

I'm sure it was mentioned right at the start, then someone said it wasn't true

I'd rather him get minutes than not, Look at KWP
Yes, but it leaves us still with an attacking player short with a small chunk of our budget gone for this season. With Poch talking about winning the league, we need to think about our short term needs a little bit too.

It wouldn't be the end of the world if he didn't play too much next season, he's very young and we could loan him in January or next summer if that were the case. But now if we get injuries there will be a lack of depth again.
