NOTE - I wrote this before reading the rest of the thread.
No, it's not depressing being a Spurs fan. Dear Lord, go back to the 90s - those were dark times
There's a difference between being depressed by Spurs as a whole and being depressed at a problem that we have at the moment. At the moment, we seem to be having issues cresting a particular hill - winning a trophy. That may be irritating, upsetting, even a little depressing, but it doesn't mean that the state of the club is cause for feeling depressed.
If the question had been 'It's so depressing being a Spurs fan today', then maybe the answer would have been 'yes'. The result last night was painful. But a single result is not an encapsulation of the state of the club as a whole. That's like saying that your car is a write-off because you have one flat tyre.
I think it's pretty obvious I was alluding to the present situation today, especially as it was posted the morning after last night's defeat. I also mentioned as much in a follow up post:
Exciting and Depressing aren't mutually exclusive.
I'm excited about the future. I'm depressed about last night.
