Yesterday's performance by King & Woody was one of the best central defensive performances I've seen from any Spurs team.

King was immense - for him to play 120 mins was incredible.
Drogba usually makes mincemeat of most defences with his style of play - but I thought yesterday he struggled to make any impact at all in getting behind King/Woody.

For a man who hasnt played for a month or so he was awesome. Name any other player who can be out for so long but come back into the team and play like he's been there every week? Unbelievable

Exactly. Nowhere near enough has been made of this - but he's done it repeatedly over the years and to come into a match of this importance against this quality of opposition is nothing short of miraculous. How anyone can continue to believe that he is not one of the top three English centre-backs is beyond me. How much composure does the man have?
