After sampling the company car scheme, Darren decided against the move...

Does this mean Ledley's moonlighting?

I just don't know if Bent's style of play actually suits the team structure that Ramos goes for. He likes forward players that can hold the ball up and create something themselves, and as most of the posters on here have said he isn't that sort of player. He was good at Charlton picking up through balls, and Charlton gave him plenty to chase because typically they played very deep. But from what I've seen so far it appears to me Ramos doesn't want Spurs to play deep, so when we are playing so much further up the pitch where is the space for Bent to run into ?

I expect him to go in the summer because his style of play won't suit what Ramos wants.

bit more from Dragon

catagorically not had a medical, wham are interested at £10-£12 million , my understanding is at this moment in time unless wham got close to what we paid which is £15.5 million plus a million in add lons the boy will be staying, rem tho jan is a long month lots can change but at mo no medical and he is staying

our priorities are a centre half and leftsides player as ive said they would like the ajax lad

ramos is very happy with way players are adapting majority of them are much lighter and fitter, one or two are still not as ramos wants them to be and its a matter of ship up or ship out
Last part has got to be Hudd? I know Rabbi has just started a thread saying Hudd and Robbo look alot slimmer, but i still dont think its enough for Ramos.

As for Bent, i realy hope he stays and fights for his place. A new set up for him and he has to fit in to our team and not us to fit around him.

great to hear Dragon's take on the situ - from the start I though the idea that Levy would take such a loss on Bent was rubbish - I'm no ITK - but I know how Levy works from following Spurs anfd the thought that he would sell at a masive loss to the very team who jacked up Bent's price in the first place was laughable

I remeber reading on here in the summer from another ITK how miffed Levy was with the Hammers waving monopoly money at Charlton - and forcing him effectively to follow suit or risking losing Bent, in that window anyway

Bent can play with a partner. I know one of his player mates from his Ipswich days and used to go Portman Rd occasionaly when Bent was up front for them. He played up front with Kuqi in the season they nearly got promoted through the play offs. Kuqi used to get the flick ons, Bent would get onto them and finish. However, Ipswich played very direct football, so Bent either has to adapt to how we play or we have to play more to his strengths, either way there is no way he should be sold after 6 months. He didnt decide his price tag!

Wow. I hope you never run a company. I would love to read a directors report written by you:

2008 was a great year, we lost only £6 million. Next year we hope to inly lose £5.9 million. Thanks for your investment.

Well said. the 'Bent was rubbish' brigade are missing the point and far too quick to write off a guy who wants to play for us...:shake: so let's support such a lunatic!?!?

COYS!
