From memory spurs revenue was £310m Liverpool £370m . Our revenue is gonna go up at least £100m probably more like £150m.
Liverpool will have CL revenue plus increased match day income due to the new main Stand in the next accounts.
16/17 revenues:
Spurs £306m
Liverpool £364
Liverpool made £25m more than us for CL run and they ain’t getting to the final every season. The new stand is worth £12m.
We have untold new revenue streams coming. Just gate receipts will be £60m non football events £25-40m NFL £10m naming rights £15-20m no idea on concessions but will massively increase. We are gonna be in £400-450m range.
I thought there was ITK that we were working on deals in January to be completed before the summer ala the modric deal?
Thought we had done great business? Transfers? No. Naming rights? No. Hard to see where this great business is. We've fucked up massively so far this window. Simple as that. 3 weeks to bring in players, already a fair way down our list by all accounts, as well as shift 5/6/7 players. If it works I'll be delighted to be proved wrong but it works both ways. You think rival chairman won't realise we want shot of Toby, and Dembele hasn't got it in his legs anymore? Or the rest of the players we want out are frankly shit?
Wanting top dollar for depreciating assets, yet needing to sell before we buy is a ridiculous strategy if the manager is being "backed". When was the last time we bought a teams best player late in the window? It doesn't happen.
The party line was always that the transfer budget wouldn't be affected by the stadium, and whilst I recognise costs have soared, but so has TV money, not to mention any potential commercial deals.
We have a decent first XI but a midfield of Dier, Winks, Wanyama, Sissoko and an aging Dembele is weak as piss compared to the rest of the top 4. Not to mention Winks/Dembele being injury prone, and Wanyama coming off a long lay off.
The whole thing stinks of false promises to players and staff, not to mention unrealistic dreams sold to the fans.
Im not sure anyone really believed that, did they?
If we were negotiating deals then we would have completed them then. You can complete deals anytime, you just can't register the player to play.

For those that scoffed at this here’s a projected break down of revenue. I said £450m as I have the non football worth way more than £6m. Figures I’ve seen quoted are £2-3m per event (16) which would tally with rest of these and take it to around £450m

that is some joe bloggs prediction just like your £450m. No 1 knows for definite what will happen on 4 of those predictions, and no 1 knows for definite what losses we will make in this transfer market as at the moment no 1 is buy our deadwood. no 1 knows yet what the whole wage bill will be, no 1 knows if we will play an extra CL match, or a half empty Europa League match or nothing at all. no 1 knows if we will get 1 domestic home match, no 1 knows how many shirts will be sold (not many by the look of it, and have a name printed).
lets wait and see we might not manage the concerts, or as much on stadium naming, and if we fail to get CL next season or even European footy, then next season will be even harder to predict
Most of what you said is irrelevant this is revenue not profit. Wages transfers etc are irrelevant. The only real unknown is how many cup games and how the non football will pan out. It would be hard to believe our naming rights will be less than Arsenal. And everything else is pretty much fact.
I’m not sure the PL clubs really thought through the early window close in regard to dead wood. Basically if we can’t shift one of Janssen or Nkoudou we are left with a player that’s totally worthless to us and european clubs then have 3 weeks to make us some embarrassing offer that we will likely have to accept. Thinking about it this window the top clubs have flogged very little dead wood so far. Others have much more than us they have to off load, be interesting how it pans out.
how can you say it's fact, I haven't even seen the list of what each category general, or members prices are for games yet, so the general admission figure is a complete guess, we also don't know for an absolute guarantee that every single game will be sold out, whether that's our tickets or even the away tickets.
food and beverage yet again a complete guess, already seen from the forum, plenty won't be part-taking due to the cost of the new ticket, and through old habbits
commercial yet again a complete guess
sponsorship as you say, very much doubt we would get less than Arse, but if we don't get the right amount for the 1st season, we might not have anything as has been stated "Not rely on naming rights!" also if we do only get 10m, it would be over a shorter period
What have you gone and done baldylocks?Nice one. An ITK thread I’m not banned from.
