Absolutely brilliant day. We were 3-1 down at half time and ended up winning 7-3 (not that it was that important) my son scored a blinder from 25 yards top corner and i set up 2. My feet havent touched the ground since lol I ache like a mother though.

I played in a game at WHL back in 2001 - the first "Football Aid" match to be held there.
My team was skippered by Chiv and opposition by Mabbs...
I played centre-forward, which wasn't my normal position. What also didn't help is that I had played a game the previous night and also walked from Seven Sisters to the stadium. I was f***ed before I even got on the pitch!
Mabbutt never let me get a touch, so the only thing I can rightfully claim to my kids is that I have put the ball in the net at WHL, even if it was just during a warm-up!

It was goal of the day for sure, absolute worldy. Such a brilliant day, everyone played it in the right spirit and just enjoyed the moment. You normally get the odd person who takes it too seriously but everyone relaxed and had a great time, unforgetable day!

I've never won anything in my life. Actually that's a lie I did win a cheeseburger at mcdonalds once which I was ecstatic about, but it was only a single one. Couldn't even add an extra patty.
