I designed a poster showcasing the 1960/61 Spurs team!

Like the title says, I've recently designed an infographic poster that shows all the stats of the 1960/61 double-winning Spurs side. It's part of a larger series of posters i've been working on that showcases a standout season from a single club.

I'm selling prints of this design, as well as my other poster designs, on my Etsy page here. You can also see more hi-res images of the posters if you want to take a closer look at the details.

Rob has very kindly allowed me to promote these on SC, and I'd like to give something back in return. For SC members, you can get 10% off all orders (including other posters, not just spurs ones), with the promocode SPURSCOMMUNITY10. Also, for every sale that's made using that promocode i'll be donating another 10% to Spurs Community, and additionally i'll be donating another 10% to FASD Awareness, a charity raising awareness about Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, which is a charity i've been helping out for a while.

So to recap, use SPURSCOMMUNITY10 if you buy a poster, save 10% yourself, 10% to help SC keep running and 10% to help a charity!

Thanks!

This seems to have gone down about as well as a bag of cat piss.
With Spurs Chat I tend to arrow in on the threads I frequently visit, meaning it often takes me a while to spot new posts.

The design's clean, clear and concise. Shame you have to go back to the sixties to get a decent team of ours, compared to the other teams you've designed posters for. :D

Thanks, I figured maybe the timing was a bit off with the ESL debacle/new manager issues dominating discussion, but it is easy to miss new threads in Spurs chat.

My plan is eventually to have posters for several Spurs seasons, as well as expanding out into posters for individual players careers as well, all following a similar style. There aren't too many Spurs fans knocking around that witnessed the 60/61 team live, and therefore have a decent sense of nostalgia for them, but when I was deciding which Spurs team to do my first poster on I couldn't ignore that they are the best by a clear margin. My next Spurs poster will likely be the 83-84 season, just to target a slightly younger audience.

If it was stats based on this year's squad the poster would be pretty much all white.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

The FA cup 1991 side might be a popular one.

Harry redknaps staple team might also be popular

Bake on the left, Lennon on the right, king center half, gomes the clown in goal .. Super Pav maybe. You know. Those were engaging fun times, I know we didn't win anything but that's the last time I really enjoyed tbh

Yeah yeah I did of course, but they were more 'serious' weren't they. Kinda felt we had everything to lose all the time, whereas the redknapp era was just fun really hey, little to lose and some class times

Crouchy, Sandro, Gomes, GDS, bunch of characters
