According to this bbc piece Hutton back in training this week.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/7918921.stm

Can't wait till he gets back to full fitness as on his day think he's prob the best RB in the prem, and will also allow Charlie to play else where. Mind you with the way Dawson is playing and with Palacios now in the middle i'm not sure where he'd move to. It's easy to forget that we've some how ended up with 3 of the premierships best RB's. All 3 would get into virtually every other teams starting 11.

also found this quote from sept on the bbc site from Alex Ferguson re hutton,
"I think when Hutton comes back he will make a massive difference to the Scotland team," said the Manchester United manager.
"He's without doubt as good a full-back as there is in Britain. He's got great attacking qualities."

The more I think about it the closer our team is to being complete, when that ellusive left sided midfielder arrives along with maybe another forward I think we have a very very good squad. If the other youngsters can carry on making strides like BEA, O'Hara and Taarabt seem to be then the future is very bright indeed.

It was shocking how he was rushed back from injury in October. He missed an entire pre season with a broken foot and was then thrown in against Stoke, Udinese and Woolwich in the space of a week and didn't play well and suddenly he is rubbish. I saw him a lot for Rangers before his move to us and thought he was unbelievable, as well as some great games for Scotland. Will be gutted if things don't work out for him at Spurs. SAF and Jose rate him very highly and that's good enough for me

I was thrilled to bits to get him in the first place; I hope he stays and shows everyone just how good he is when he's fit. I just worry that with Chimbo, Gunter and Corluka already vying for that spot, that his injury will cheat him of a career with us.

Yeah I felt he was rushed back, just like Davids was towards the end that oh so nearly 4th season.

All of a sudden people are saying they are shit, they need games and to get back into the rhythm of the team.

Hutton was immense last season, and he will be again given time.

I still thnk Corluka is a better Central Defender, he has all the qualities but would need a pacey partner at the back cos he aint the quickest

I like his character. He's exactly what we need around the place at the moment.

I like him and hope he works to cement a place. he's not better than Corluka though, but maybe the latter will be moved into CB more.
