No quotes, no real source, and completely out of Lloris' character. He's probably the most professional and down to earth player we have.

Maybe he does want more money, but for now, I don't buy it.

i'm not saying we should sell him but would it be a disaster if he went and we replaced him with butland for example? with three years left on his deal there's nothing to consider right now but next summer we might have a decision to make.

'Disaster' is a strong word but it would be a bad sign of a lack of ambition, and the loss of our captain would be damaging.

He's slightly overrated by spurs fans I think, he pulls off some truly magnificent saves but he often lets in some softies at important times. vs Arsenal and Newcastle at home are just a few.

Wow , he may let in a soft goal here and there , few and far between if you ask me , all the top goalies do . The amount of points he has saved us it's unreal ! He has been our best keeper this generation by a country mile , if you can't see that then .... I don't think you really know the skill set it takes to be a world class goalie . Apart from his distribution he is simply world class in all other aspects , keepers who command their box and rush out like he does are a rare breed

If it's true all it really says is he rejected a contract we offered him. it's not a big worry at the moment. If it was like the 5th contract we offered him and he was in the last 18 months of his current deal maybe it would be worth getting a bit worried.

It doesn't say what was on the contract. If it's a case of money I'd be happy with Lloris being level with whoever else the top wage earner of the club is, he doesn't seem the sort to let money go to his head.

Or there could be other clauses in there he might want added or amended, he's 29 and might now want to see what will happen in the summer to see if we are focused on moving forward, backwards or sideways.

Might be good for him to hold out till after the summer as if he has a good World Cup he can demand more money and even if somehow he personally has a bad one it's unlikely to affect the clubs opinion on him.

Or he could just be really focused on the World Cup at the moment.

Don't really connect Hugo with commanding the box to be honest. He's a fantastic keeper but does have a couple of weaknesses. Would hate to lose him but I think the story is tabloid bollox anyway.

Lloris only stayed with us last year because he believed we would get Champions league this year. Now that we have it he's leaving? Good one, Mirror.

He's obviously much happier than he was before Poch joined, but I wonder if he'd prefer to be somewhere with an insanely high line that really needs a sweeper-keeper.

Wouldn't be easy to replace Hugo, he may have let in a few soft ones but he's absolutely world class, no doubt about it. Couple his ability with his model professional attitude and you have an integral member of our side. I honestly don't see another keeper within our means being able to fill that void.

Love Hugo want him to stay would be upset if he left but look if he wants to leave it would definitely not be end of the world if we could get 30 plus million get someone like butland who in my opinion will be world class one day and have more money to build a squad and have a happy squad it would not be as bad as losing Toby, kane, dier or even lamela in my opinion but anyway hope he does sign a new contract

The thing about Hugo is he is approaching 30 and has won only one cup back in France. A player of his talents should have won a lot more, I think he knows this. I think yet again next season we need to show progress and we need most probably to win something for him to stay.

I'm glad Hugo has rejected a new contract. I hope he's said, "You want to keep me, show ambition! Buy a top striker, buy a top midfield general! I want to win shit here but this pussy footing about will ensure we are always nearlies. Show me the MONEY!!!"

Or something like that
