I did see this yesterday mate. I'm very torn on the King Stand Stakes.

I put an ante post bet on Battaash at odds of 7/2 (2pt bet £40 stake) a few weeks ago. I was advised to do that off my best and most consistent contact but in the last few days another I trust (admittedly they aren't as good as the other contact) has been massively talking up Sceptical.

Personal opinion, Sceptical has race fitness on his side and Battaash has lost every time he has raced at Ascot but Battaash if ready to go will be so difficult to stop, he's an absolute beast and I don't think I would have been advised to stake a 2pt bet if they weren't confident. I was lucky enough to get the 2nd bit of info on Sceptical when he was 12/1 so I had £20 on it.

Therefore as long as one of those two win, I would win £200 off Battaash and £260 off Sceptical off a total stake off £60. Pretty much guaranteeing a lovely profit provided they win.

If I was advising a bet, I think I would go with Battaash but I don't know yet if I will advise on here and I also don't know what odds they both are now.

I really like Mogul in the King Edward VII but very short at 13/8

Sceptical won't run in King Stands by the looks of it so 7/2 ante post on Battaash now looks huge. Currently into 10/11 and if Sceptical isn't declared that will go to around 8/13 in my opinion.

For what it's worth, the link below is a fantastic help for finding the best odds. There are still some good prices around for today's selections.
I have accounts with bet365, PaddyPower, William Hill and Skybet which gives me a lot of flexibility.

Bet365 has best odds guaranteed the day before the race which makes it the best site with usually the best opening prices. They open first around 16.30 the day before.

Skybet have a lot of good offers on around the major festivals including money back as cash if your horse loses etc.... They also have very competitive ante post bets but you can't cash out on them like you can with bet365.

PaddyPower have great rewards like bet 5 x £10 bets in a week and you get a free £10 bet the following Monday and also 1 x free paddypower boost which boosts the horse of your choice up to the next set of odds (e.g. 2/1 to 5/2)

William Hill is fantastic for betting in advance. Hopefully the two Monday horses I have are declared shortly after 11am this morning and if so I can only get early prices with them. When the market then opens up on Sunday at 16.30 for Monday, if I can get a better price with bet365 I will take that and then wait until the horses odds are smashed in and make a nice profit with William Hill by cashing out.

He beat a smart horse on debut and that was on heavy so change in conditions should suit. The extra distance should also help.

I managed to get 5/2 with William Hill with a price boost.
