The official site just says that he went there on loan with a view to perm and that has now been exercised. No mention of the fee.

Liked the lad, brilliant attitude, loved the club and seems a good professional.

Although he wasn't outstanding, worked hard for the team but lacked something regarding the technical side of things.

Still think he deserved to be in the squad last season shame he wasn't really given a chance.

Shame it didn't work, was so chuffed when we picked him up for £2m. A really nice-seeming lad with a good personality, never saw him moan on the pitch, seemed a good all-round professional, best of luck to him at Hamburg.

I'm amazed that he was not really given a chance by Poch. I also thought he was Taylor made for the Poch 'philosophy'
He was not our best player, but he was by far not our worst. Maybe he was a bit too charasmatic for Tino?

I think his character/personality was a bit of a problem - maybe a little too immature for poch's liking; and his ability didn't counter that enough for poch.
