I was hoping for the Harry and Adebayor punditry dream team.

Harry: "'triffic stuff. Lovely lads."
Ade: "Ayeezo onde buses somavazdo avem un footballo ah yoobee inservedy edda ballalot."
Harry: "That's right Ade, triffic stuff, Runabatabit. Rodney you dipstick. Lovelyjubbly."
Ade: "eh?"

Youmena Roy Keane...don't you?

As a pundit, he doesn't set my world on fire. I am not quite sure what to make of him now that he is fiddling about with his hair. It seems so out of character for him.

And God bless Hoddle's barnet. What an extraordinarily full head of hair he has for a man his age.

He's definitely colouring it but it is also unusually thick, in my opinion. Maybe it's a wig.

I work up in the city and the law firms that are in my office building have shitloads of hair like that, 65 years old and a full mop of thick brown hair. Do me a favour!

As for Harry as a pundit, sure he'd be a comfortable TV presence and your average footie fan would probably enjoy his take ont he football, me personally I want them to be ripping the tactics to shreds, give the floor to Michael Cox and Jonathan Wilson for a couple of hours, but that's not what your average fan wants and I don't think that's really a bad thing. The happy medium is Gary Neville etc, Channel 5s Europa League coverage has been good too.

Is ITV covering it? 'Cause their coverage is atrocious.

I'm amazed you could ever make that much sense out of what he said - either of them

GHodd does have a fine head of hair...but is there ever a player of such extravagent talent with a duller and mroe boring voice?

I like his voice. I find it mellifluous.

Yes, they've got their snouts in the trough.

There is sense in what you are saying, shelfside18.

You've completely fucked me up now. When I read my book in bed tonight it's going to be Hod's monosyllabic herts/cockney drone I'm going to hear in my head.

I could read to you if you like? I've got this great little book called Modric Has No Bollocks. It's unputdownable.

There's a sequel for that, isn't there? How To Sell Half A Brain (And No Bollocks) For The Price Of A Full Brain
