Came to post the same, played really well today. Best game in ages.

Took a great yellow card with that foul when Leicester would have been 3 on 1.
Took a yellow card after conceding possession to initiate a Leicester counter-attack.

I've always been one of Winks' biggest supporters, but we can't give him praise for turning a promising attack (we had players piled in the Leicester box) and then getting booked in the process of correcting his own mistake.

Lord I hope he stays to torment all you sour wet dough.

May he be given a 3 year extension and put on 200K a week. May he be selected for a majority of our PL games next season too :ROFLMAO: . You lot don't deserve any nice toys.

Lol.....I just think it's over the top and I don't like our own academy players being treated the way he's treated. I remember when Jenas was the whipping boy too.
I wouldn’t have minded him if he wasn’t a snide little snake. It’s his behaviour which for me has contributed to the vitriol towards him on this forum.

Hopefully the new manager will realise he is just not good enough and we can send him to Burnley or Crystal Palace.

I'm not soooo clued up on that to be honest. Also becateful of what others say....

1. I remember Toby going back on his word apparently.
2. Walker instigating his own departure.
3. Tripper not being committed and being a utter waste...poor guy played with an injury.
4. Dele Alli being past it...etc etc etc.

People have agendas.....so will naturally leak info to suit their agendas. I judge players on what they do on the field the rest is trivial hand bags stuff.

Look, today was the best I’ve seen him play in a long time. But he still hides when the defenders have the ball. He deliberately trots at the time good midfielders sprint. At one point in the first half toby played it to him. The midfield opened up. He turned and played it back. It’s there for all to see. He plays teammates into trouble all the time.

however
he worked harder off the ball today. Was that caused by two of his direct competitors kicking off at his favouritism from mason? He was still one of our weakest players, and -this is key as far as I’m concerned-he was the worst in terms of attitude when he wasn’t playing.

he’s shown too many of the attributes of a shite footballer playing for himself for a while now. Putting a defensive shift in (in front of his new manager?) isn’t enough for me.

It’s a shame he’s from the academy. Reason? Because it means we taught him to be like this

I mean if you were to judge him on his on field stuff he is terrible regardless! But none of these players blabbed to the press or to the Athletic. Where do you think most of these stories have come from? I think that is disrespectful. It’s one thing being unhappy internally it’s another thing briefing the press and asking to be kept anonymous. I remember the anger that Rose got from us after his interview, what Winks did was worse apparently. Hopefully we get the truth soon if/when we leave. At least Rose and Kane were happy to put their names to it and in fact we’re arguing for us to improve. Winks was self serving.

Ok fine judge him on his performance on the pitch.
not a problem

he is terrible.
same as sissoko (have you noticed that winks has started pointing who to pass it to as well now?)
Same as dier
Same as dele

you could sell all four and it wouldn’t really hurt us in the slightest.

Oh is that what he's alleged to have done. Might not be him though. People and agendas and all that. Posters here even accused Toby of doingsimilarwith the Belgian press...... I guess I'll give him the benefit.

On his on field contributions we tend to be impatient with players especially where they've had a bit part role. I feel he gives more than show pony Ndombele as an example. Controversial statement I know and many a poster will think I'm trolling but I'll genuinely take him over the CURRENT VERSION of Ndombele.

I think we love our scapegoats as a fan base. Agree on Sissoko though.

We also give our English players more stick than most.....strange phenomenon.

Do Bournemouth still buy shitty HG players? It's hard to imagine him playing in this league, unless we fail to sell him. Some top 8 club in Championship perhaps.

Honestly, it’s got nothing to do with anything other than his performance.
I wish people would stop looking for a excuse

It’s not racism
It’s not xenophobia
It’s not jingoism
It’s not self-loathing

just watch the fucking games!!!
