As good as Dembele is at dribbling, passing the ball forward quickly will always be more efficient for breaking teams down. Winks is a stunner, our very own Paul Schoales.
The ball can travel much faster than anyone can run. It follows that quick passing is more likely to be able to break teams down than running at them with it. That said, of course there are times when running at them can cause havoc and work when trying quick passes doesn't work, but the principle holds good.
