Hope he plays tonight vs Utd as I'm intending on watching the game and I always enjoy Utd getting hammered.

In the German media today saying how much he misses London and the familiarity of his surroundings. He doesn't mention Spurs directly but what are the thoughts on Kane coming back in the summer?

We've obviously shown that we're a good side without him but do we think with Ange he'd improve us or would that be a step in the wrong direction?

I don't know whether it'll be back here, but I do think if he achieves all he can in Germany in 2 or 3 seasons he'll look to move on. I don't think Bayern was ever going to be his retirement club.

Of course he’d improve us

Think that story is just taking the fact he hadn’t got a house sorted yet etc and just running with it though.

Also, we wouldn’t be able to afford what it would take to sign him back anyway.

It's probably nothing since this is his first season not in England. Christmas in a different country will have you realise what you miss about "home".

The 'story' in the media is probably taken from his pre - Utd game interview when he was asked what things he misses in the UK.
He has found a 7 bed property in Germany for the family to settle in - so cannot see him leaving after one year.

Nice little interview pitch side after the game. Good to hear (from 2:00 onwards) that he's found a place to move into and joking about sending the family home if he stops scoring

Bit of a shame he never mentions his love for all the 11yr old Spurs fans

Germany is the absolute BEST country in the world to spend Christmas. We lived there for 10yrs when the kids were little, came back to the UK the first year and not once after - and that was years before mobile phones, zoom calls and social media etc.

If the family wanted to spend Christmas with us they came to Germany. Every year was magical.

So don't worry about HK, he'll be just fine!

I meant more that his young family have always been around London with their extended families I'd imagine. I'm sure they'll enjoy it, just the first one will probably feel a bit weird to begin with, without the usual home comforts and traditions of the last however many years.

I predicted that his stay in Germany would be a year at the most then he would be back to join a PL side, which Levy wouldn't let him do before. But maybe i am just far too cynical

Germany has a month winter break after this coming weekend so there's no reason why they couldn't jet home for a few days for Christmas if they want to.

I'd be worried we'd try and build the team back around Kane which would be a massive massive mistake. I think were far better off without him. Its all pie in the sky anyway as he won't be resigning with us.

Come on Coyte, we want to see H being interviewed pitch-side for the Everton game at halftime :bag:

He'd score an absolute boatload in this team and I bet he knows it. He passed up the chance to obliterate all records in favour of easy pickings in the sausage league though, so that's on him.

If things aren't going well maybe we could bring on a 6'2" Bryan Gil around 55 minutes who just happens to suddenly be really good at shooting.

I think I also read that his wife and kids are still back here. For a guy renowned as a family man that must be tough
