If he was any old striker sure, but for Kane it's a good deal. Age isn't a big deal in his case, I don't think. He'll be gold for another 5 years.

Basically just bought themselves 150 goals.
30+ yr old bodies can start doing funny things without warning 😂 so you never know when the deterioration might start. I do think it is a bit of a risk

Yeah, I get it! Not taking the piss. Just saying he looks like he’s bricking it! I moved to a new city last year and it took me a good couple of months to adjust! It’s mad how you react when you move away from everything you’ve ever known!
Haha I was kinda taking the piss with the golf courses thing but yeah it's genuinely gonna be proper weird for him.

Immediately after the Kane gone announcement, Spurs need to roll out that video they used to show pre-game (still do?) across all social media channels - "This is the club of Blanchflower, McKay, Greaves, King etc etc", (with HK edited out). Great reminder that the club is bigger than anyone, and that we have always had great players and we always evolve on to the next batch.

Jesus H. Grow up mate.

We haven’t even spared a thought for the commentators either. They used to fill 60% of our live matches talking about how Kane needs to leave. What are they going to talk about now he’s gone? Probably how we are rubbish without him 😂

Son leaving is next for comms. Natch.

I've spent all day trying to get a read on how I feel about Harry going, watching this has put it in context.

I was lucky enough to have been there for some of those moments: and for that I will always be grateful.

Beyond that, I sincerely hope at his Bayern unveiling he slips on the stage, falls and breaks his leg (in the nicest possible way)

They all did win something though, Capoue, Foyth Lamela and quite a few more have won something since they left
Yeah but they're all players we either put up for sale or used as part of a swap, I'm talking about players in their prime (who we'd have been perfectly happy to keep) that big clubs came in for with offers we'd have been daft to refuse.

This just feels like Kane is more concerned about being remembered for never winning anything than anything else and just wants to tick a box. It just makes him feel less special as a Spurs player to me, which is a crying shame given everything he's done but it is what it is.

Just a few months ago he was talking about fixing the culture of the club - imagine the legend status he'd command if he committed the rest of his playing career to us (or at least the next 2 or 3 seasons) and played his part in taking the club to glory under Ange.

I think he has had enough of the Levy f*** ups/rebuilds/resets and so on, to be honest. In that way he really is a fan like us as I feel exactly the same.

Let’s get it straight kane has left Levy I all but guarantee he wouldn’t go if we had new owners even new owners who weren’t spending.

What a pleasure it's been to see a young lad become such a legendary goal machine at our club. Best of luck to him.

And what a shame he isn't going to be a one man club. Top players have to leave us everytime because we're stuck with an incompetent asshole of a chairman. They all go to pastures new and achieve great things. We're endlessly lumbered with little man, big ego dickhead who would have fired himself over a decade ago if he had any self awareness.

Well shit.

I remember when my son was in NICU and the consultant noticed my Spurs shirt. She said that my son can be the next Harry Kane when he gets older.

I watched that clip after putting my son to bed and it took me back to what the consultant said. It hit me a bit.

Truly the end of an era. 😔

I really don’t care either way. I won’t be following him at all unless Bayern play in the latter stages of the CL.
It won't happen, but I actually hope Dortmund or someone else will win the league.

And its not because I'm bitter towards Kane. I just don't like Bayern. And they have won enough titles in a row.
