Ange confirming the business spurs have done has been with Kane leaving in their minds. Sickening
"We've been planning for this, it's fair to say, for a while. It doesn't take too much investigative work to realise this was going to happen. A lot of our business so far has been with this in mind. It doesn't change my plans dramatically."

Weird he was captain and played so many minutes against Shaktar.

Yeah, I can understand people being upset or emotional about Kane leaving. Football affects us all in different ways. A lot of people are clearly very, very angry, which personally, I don't think is particuarly healthy but whatever.

But what I'm really struggling to get my head around is people being shocked by it. He's wanted out for two years. It was obvious that he wouldn't be signing a new contract, so would be leaving next year anyway. It just seemed inevitable that sooner or later, this summer or next, he would be gone. It's not a shock, it's been on the cards for two years.
At first I assumed that most people who were devastated were younger fans who hadn't experienced it before but he is a generational talent so I can understand the emotion. Personally, I feel like we were never going to be able to rely on him forever and it will be good to (hopefully) see goals being split amongst several players rather than one main outlet but I can totally appreciate the concern. We have been massively reliant on him.

I saw that as his testimonial to be fair. Even had his kids birthday party in the crowd by looks of it. Didn’t look the most strenuous of games

Our other striker was injured, and it isn't done until they offered what they want.

It also says there is still movement in the squad. It doesn't confirm our business is done. Calm down
Sounded most like the business to be done was to move players on, not incomings. Which still needs doing in fairness.

Just fucking brilliant. It's bad enough knowing our star player is leaving, but to then hear that the business / money to be spent replacing him has already happened?? That's just the shitty icing on the top.
DIdnt say that tho
