Levy is responsible for what happens at Tottenham and making sure we are prepared for the season, not Bayern and not Kane. If he'd have put in a deadline of 3 weeks ago Bayern would still have found the money, the deal still would have been done and we'd have had time to get things in order.

According to the ITK, There was supposedly a deadline set last weekend by spurs. Deadlines are arbitrary, bar the transfer deadline.

Do we just accept the derisory offer?

Ange has stated thay he only wants players who want to be here.

I'm gutted how it has drawn out, and that he's leaving.

No one said levy isn't responsible, but based on the comments here, there isn't a decision he can make that is the right one for everyone.

Just imagine the shot of adrenaline and the hairs standing up on the back of your neck when you see the extra £100 million in the end of year accounts.

Will make all of the heartache worth it.

I feel sorry for Ange, no doubt. But I am also confident that he's a no bullshit sort of guy that will deal with it well. He handles the media well
Yeah, he's been impressive in that respect so far. Imagine if it's still in the air when the presser starts. The media's collective blood pressure will create an audible buzzing sound.

Fati & Schuurs, got to hope Ange is a miracle worker if they are the two we bring in. Both decent players, but they're just that.
Fati is a monumental gamble. Tbh if we were looking at LWF who is on the chopping block I’d much prefer we went for Felix. To put it into context, Zaniolo would be a safer move than Fati (not that I want zaniolo but just saying). I bet he will cost €40/50 mil as well.

This is no different from dozens of football transfers that run on and on throughout the transfer windows. They are messy from both clubs viewpoint and the player’s viewpoint. It’s all about getting the best deal you can from all parties involved. These days it’s further muddied by agents and sponsors, and hyped by social media. All the personal attacks and name calling is just low class and not worthy of Spurs fans. I assume everyone that posts here is an adult so have a word with yourselves. Whoever the player is it’s just another transfer, not your favourite toy getting thrown out of a pram.

Onwards. COYS!!

Not if we've got 3 more players we signed as gambles that haven't worked out that we need to shift.
Potentially semantics but what player isn't a gamble? Of the players we're needing to shift out atm, a lot of them when bought seemed like good ideas/investments etc...

Who is holding Levy to account?

This is the problem. Joe Lewis doesn't seem capable, or his advisors.

Levy, show a bit of class and stick to whatever you are agreed to.
He presents the club we all support, what he does indirectly reflects on us as fans. If he has really stopped Kane flying he really is a pathetic little man and embarrassment to the club….. that’s if it’s true or cause 😎

Not in defence of DL - but what other owners get held to account?

But he's not majority owner is he?

I thought he owned 30%?

Joe Lewis and ENIC owning the rest? Surely someone is scrutinising his performance?

Daniel Levy just realised Bayern has a Super Cup game this weekend and Kane could win his first trophy after one game so wants to make sure he doesn't play in that!
Come on the add ons will be related to trophies, Levy will want every penny.
