Gazza, Bale and Kane, the best I have seen in my time following Spurs. Will be gutted if he does go but will wish him all the best. He’d still be here if the club showed any fucking ambition. ENIC happy to build a brand without ever chasing glory.

I guess the good news is that we won't have to see him every week when he goes.

He'll be banging in goals that no one in England will see.

He'll be wearing a pair of Skechers that no one will buy.

He'll lift the trophy that Hojberg already won 4 times with Bayern, and he'll likely go out in the round of 16 of the Champions League.

He'll just be another goal scorer not named Alan Shearer, remembered along with other good goal scorers on the list like Jermaine Defoe.

He'll probably be in Augsburg in front of 20k people when his kid is born in London.

He'll never hear "He's One of Our Own Again."
Fucking hell, DM this to him quick, that's sad as fuck.

I don't want any player who wants out. And that Neville interview still irritates me.

This news makes me more determined to support the team and Ange.

We'll be fine. For some reason I feel optimistic. Front foot football will have the crowd behind Ange. It doesn't take a lot. Just effort and attempting to beat the other team - which I've not really seen in 3 years.

I hope he either comes back to us in 2-3 years or never comes back to England period. I actually never want to see us play against him. Watching England will now hurt more. Just so gutted.

We have 86 million in the bank from this sale. There is zero reason for Levy to be out there negotiating installment payments and haggling over finer details. Big clubs who have just lost a key player take that money and go splash the cash on top players and are decisive.

The very words I was going to type. This club has been stripped of its real assets in favour of some glossy brochure version of what business men think a football club is. Whenever we get close to getting back to what we want Levy rips out the guts again. He’s a fucking masochist.
I really don't think this is the end of the world mate, completely 100% get you and others frustration and sentiment and it is shit seeing Kane go because of the poor decisions that led to this but this summer and with the appointment of Ange and more recently with Paratici's recruitment we have got a lot right.

Perhaps this is the final part of the what has been excruciatingly painful rebuild and now we can move on to an entirely new and fairly exciting chapter under Ange.

I think we are 4 signings (CB,CM,RW,ST) away from giving Ange possibly the strongest all-round squad we've had in the PL in terms of strength in depth and I'd like to hope with the Kane money we will get at least 3 of these as per a lot of ITK and reports with regards to Kane sale plans.

I think lessons have been learnt by Levy and co as to why we have basically failed Kane but we are making the most of the situation right now and I do really think we can come out stronger in a different way now.

Its sickening seeing Kane leave and people are rightfully emotional and upset right now but this is not me just being positive for positives sake, I genuinely think we will be ok and am still very excited about an entirely new chapter under Ange post-Kane.

Lost a little bit of love for football tonight. If the 9th richest club in the world can't keep its world beating local lad then what's the point?

Paying over a grand to watch 11 millionaires from all over the world kick a ball about was much more palatable when the main man was a guy from up the road.

Soulless now just like the rest of this league.

I’m clearly in the minority, but I’m actually chuffed if he goes there at this point.

We need a massive reset, massive reset. It’s a new era, new team, new ideas.

He is having minimum 2 years over there, so we don’t have to go through the pain of him lining up against us. He’ll win the league but it’s hollow as anything out there with them. Insignificant league so we will barely hear about him past October

Sad to see him go, would have been amazing if he had signed forever but he clearly never intended to.

Onwards and Upwards, COYS forever.
I’ll say this now and hopefully will be proved wrong, but this massive massive reset is unlikely to happen imo.

The football will likely be better (from a very low bar) but we have one of the worst performance culture I’ve ever come across both as a fan and professionally.

A key tenet of a performed culture is an intolerance of underperformance, whereas we consistently and constantly produce excuse after excuse for the shambolic way we often go about our footballing endeavours.

I’m sure Ange will do his level best and there are signs that our football will at least be entertaining. However, I think the near future will consist of regular 7th - 10th places and battling with Brighton, Brentford et al and the massive reset that we would need to challenge again for top 4 will never materialise under ENIC.

Absolute pleasure watching Kane from his first game to his last. No one saw this coming and he was not just good. He was pure world class.

Are we better with him? Of course we are but he walks next season and made it clear he would not sign a new contract so selling him now is the best of all the bad options available.

Now we back the manager and any new players coming in. Regardless of Kane leaving. Next season is still going to be better and more entertaining than the crap we have had to watch for the past two.

The irony is, without Kane, we will probably end up winning a cup this season!
Us winning a trophy would also cause HK to get extra abuse from other fans for us being better without him and maybe he was holding us back all this time!

More than happy for that to happen

Could be a rollercoaster frantic end to the window.
