Like with everyone who knows what’s going on. My way of thinking was if he goes to Bayern it prevents a painful potential ordeal of Harry going to a Prem rival. Now, especially after yesterday it seems odd him going after playing over 75 mins in a friendly.

I’m in agreement with Ally Gold, you never know now with Ange’s system he may be thinking I can get a load of goals, see where the season goes as well as see if the club shows ambition before the end of the window.

For me just like with City, Bayern are taking the Micky being a bully not getting their way (hopefully).

Still not ideal before the season but I really hope he stays and we can go all out domestically in the cups and push for Europe this year.

The concern I've got with taking a gamble is I just don't feel Kane would sign a new deal here. Even if we went out and won both domestic cups and got top 4, I could imagine it being a great way to sign out for him and he would still look to move on.

If you could guarantee City, Madrid or Barca would not be looking to sign him next year, I think the gamble would be fair as if we do kick on and offer him a great deal I could see him thinking here is best. I just feel City offer you the chance to win trebles every season and the Spanish giants are the Spanish giants. If any of those are offering a deal I cannot see him staying here.

Also, as much as we would love to give the finger to Bayern and the German media circus. We have to forget about that and do what is best for the club long term even if that means selling Kane. Really tough choice as I can see the positives and negatives in both choices.

With respect, the idea that our decision on whether to keep a player should be based on having to play him twice a year in future is utterly bonkers
Has been my feeling throughout. I think some people simply don't want a situation in which they have to admit to themselves that he doesn't really loves us anyway and would actually play for anyone with enough money/chance of winning things.

If he did do the dirty and remain in the PL, I'd probably enjoy those games the most. Would create a fantastic atmosphere, just as it has when other idols have joined rivals.

Think I've finally made my peace with it, either way, and reached the acceptance stage.

- If he stays we get to keep our world class talisman for a year and he'll score a shitload of goals.
- If he leaves we get a ton of money to reinvest and can start adjusting to life without him.

Whatever will be will be. Just want it to be decided.

New contract, significant pay rise for Harry and a reasonable release clause at the end of the season (ideally only applicable to foreign teams, but that may take a bit of negotiation).

We get another season out of him safe in the knowledge that he won't leave for free, and Harry get's a pay rise whilst keeping control over his options. Everyone's (reasonably) happy.

Bayern Munich have seen latest offer for Harry Kane rejected by Tottenham. After proposals in June + July turned down #FCBayern were £25m short of #THFC valuation. Talks last week led to improved bid but that has now been knocked back too
@TheAthleticFC

Well I guess he’s staying then as that was their last bid supposedly. I wonder what happened behind the scenes over the last two days, clearly wasn’t a straight no.

Did anyone see his Insta post and has it been discussed? Didn’t seem like the kind of thing to write if you were leaving. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Es tut mir leid, Deutsch wichsers.

Kahn must be in the Munich offices throwing laptops through windows and smashing desks in half.
