He had a great opportunity to apologise to us yet he says he handled the situation well

Incredible. Thought he hired a top PR team ?

Won’t happen but I would like to see Southgate and England release him from The squad after tonight’s game,. No need for him to face San Marino. Give him week to get head down and train with Conte.

With most of the squad away, Conte won't be able to do anything on shape etc so having one player back wouldn't make any difference.
This isn't a bad intl break in terms of schedule (for England) - they'll be back on Tuesday which is 2 days earlier than usual.

I feel City is on for Jan. we all know he has turned off from Tottenham and Conti must see this also. He will be gone.
Agree and good riddance to him. NO player is bigger than the club even KANE! I want players like Sonny,Lucas,Lloris PEH who bleed for the club.

No player bleeds for the club. All those players would be off if Man City came in for them offering to double or triple their wages.

All he needed to do was hand in a transfer request - but no, he didn't want to lose any money.
You are right - just fuck him off and get someone in who wants to play.

I think City will be looking at Haaland. I believe he becomes much cheaper this summer. City have never spent huge, world record level fees on a 28 year old.

I actually think Utd are more likely to put up the money.

If City come back in for him the bid will be insulting (even moreso than before), and Levy will go berserk.

Highly doubt we’d even entertain offers right now.

Who sells an asset when the value would be significantly reduced? Not Levy that’s for sure.

I have a feeling it may come down to what Conte decides.

Although I don't think for one minute that City will have the slightest interest in coming back for Kane.

However. IF they did, and the offer was say £80M & Conte told Paratici/Levy that he felt he could use that amount to improve/mould the team in his vision, without the services of Kane. I don't think they'd ignore his request, as it's hardly groundbreaking news that a Conte that isn't backed, is a Conte that won't be around for long.

True. Due to the length of his contract we have no real financial reason to sell.

So the only reason we would realistically sell is if we get a price above what we believe to be his value. Traditionally there are only around 6 clubs putting in those types of offers. My understanding is Real, Barca and the Italian clubs don't have that sort of money.

City have not shown any inclination to put in that sort of money for him and are more likely to move for Haaland. Chelsea haven't spent like that in a long time.

Only PSG, Utd and Newcastle could really put in the offer required. I don't see Kane going to PSG or Newcastle.

There’s already too many forwards at both PSG and United to fit in their teams too, I really do think City were Kane’s only option, and that’s why he kicked up such a fuss in the summer.

You could be right. I actually think Utd are most likely to put up the money. They love a big signing and historically don't mind spending big on players around their prime confident that their finances means they don't have to worry too much about sell-on value.

At the moment they have quick forwards but no number nine who can hold up the ball or is good in the air, bar Cavani who is a bit-part player and surely just about done.

There'd be a massive buzz at Utd if they got Kane. Most managers would love to try to get the best from him.
