If only we could let him rot in the reserves. Its what he deserves for his utterly disgraceful behaviour. I can't believe he's still in Florida. Disrespectful and petulant in the extreme.

I'm hoping City stump up the cash that Levy wants because at the moment I just want him gone.

This is precisely what him and Man City want. You bend over now, you do it every time a richer club want our players but don't fancy paying the market value.

I don't mind him going but £130m would be a joke. We'd have been done up like a kipper. I think dropping the price to £160m, or £120m plus Laporte if he would come, would be a compromise on our part.

I actually don't believe City have any intention of pursuing this deal further though. They obviously decided they'd spend around 100m on either him or Grealish and they've gone with Grealish because he's actually available for that price. Kane is kicking up this pathetic stink because he wanted to be the one going there and not Jack, but tough shit. Really can't see them signing both.
Totally agree with what you are saying but my major concern in all of this sad state of events is the implications his return could have to the overall squad morale and player/manager relationships at a time when there is otherwise so much positivity in the air and much to look forward to. Such a shame it's ending this way instead of amicably.

Catching up on the news today...
Is there any report or ITK that City are still after Kane after signing Grealish ?

I have 30 million reasons why I don't think you can try and blame this on Spurs.
Exactly. Considering his age and injury issues, it only ever made sense if it was a cheap deal like Hojbjerg.

If we are spending 30m on a striker we should just push the boat out and bring in someone who will be with us for a good number of years with the potential of getting better.

Not saying Kane isn’t behaving badly, but is there anything new in those articles? Not seeing anything worth getting riled up over (again).

Nah, all reliable City journalists are saying they are going for both. The issue is the valuation, City were planning on getting both for about £220m.

Interesting to see if Ings to Villa will put the pressure on City to make a respectable bid.

Fewer 'plan B' options now

If kane leaves before the city game and ends up playing against us I hope our fans do what they done to he who shall not be named returned to the lane after his move

Fined 2 weeks wages so probably Thinking that he might as well take those two weeks off and see what happens next.

The only loser in this is us fans.

City get Kane
Kane gets City, trophies, more money
Spurs get £130+m
Fans get deadline day scrambling around for replacements and turning up to the opening game Vs City with a complete shambles of a starting 11.

I guess there was something to him acknowledging literally everybody that sent him birthday wishes apart from the club's account after all. Petty fucking twat. :cautious:

Longer this goes on the harder it's going to be for him to get people back onside. He obviously doesn't give a fuck but I wonder long after he retires will he feel justified winning a league with the financially doped city.
