I know this will seem knee jerk but ever since the CL final my love for this club has dwindled massively. The ESL, Jose bollocks and now Kane leaving is making it even worse.

If we sell to Utd I will have to seriously consider if its even worth it anymore.

You never escape as a fan. Don’t believe you will for a minute.

Keep him for another season and we get perfect opportunity for season 2 of Amazon series. Just need Brandon Rodgers turning it into Office 3.0. Maybe Bezos is a fan of the show and buys the club. Bring back Modric and Bale, make them talk about chicken badge etc.

Let's also play the delussional/really trying hard to find a silver lining game and in complete denial find reasons this is ok ?

- His paper ankles
- With a system based Manager he is less important
- Every trophy in our clubs history was won without him
- Infact. Every trophy in the history of football was won without him!

I’m not even sure what the right type of player is anymore. So many variables. The player, Levy, the manager, the selling club, the ambition. We haven’t been had a true focus on success for years. Everyone pulling together for the same goal. Our ambition falls way short of a trophy when it all adds up so we won’t be building a trophy winning squad. That’s your market for a new manager and players right there. At best we’re a stepping stone club. Took Kane a while but he knows it.
Agree. We need to mimic the Dortmund model. Sell expensive stars at their peak and but the up and coming

Today feels like such a huge day in our modern history.

The day when we don’t even qualify for Europe for the first time in 12 years.

The day we finish below Arsenal again for the first time in 5 years having worked so hard, and put up with so much stick along the way, to finally get our turn as North London’s top club.

The day where we get news our best player, and once in a generation talent, will indeed leave the club he loves this summer to a club with unlimited funds from dirty oil money, who we are somehow supposed to try competing with for honours each and every season.

All with no current manager, a below average squad the fans have never felt more disconnected with, and a board who continue to spend on off-field infrastructure to the detriment of on-field success or even the slightest bit of progress.

Good times.

This. The board and levy have totally failed. We have/had a genuine star who warned years ago that we have to push on. Well played ENIC
This no ambition whatsoever, they have failed no amount of spin is going to get Levy out of this. Hold him to his contract and let him go for free at the end. Show some balls for once Levy.

Right, only way I can cope with this is to clutch at straws focus on positives about him leaving:

1. He has glass ankles.
2. Since the decline started under Poch we have seen a diminishing work rate from him.
3. Playing in the re-arranged Euros this summer and the World Cup next summer means he will not get a proper pre-season for two years and will be at increased risk of fatigue and injury.
4. Levy will have to splash serious cash, and coupled with a new manager could be the major refresh we clearly need.

I am less angry than I was when Judas went to Arsenal on a free. This feels more on a par with Bale leaving for Madrid and I enjoyed Poch's reign far more than I did the teams Bale was in.

Splashing cash guarantees nothing most of our biggest transfer players have been pretty crap!
