I didn’t want to say anything but I can’t keep my mouth quiet anymore. I’m actually very disappointed in Harry Kane, the way he’s handled things this week. The season isn’t even over and he makes this interview with Neville, basically saying he is wants to leave

A lot of Spurs fans was calling Kyle Walker a snake when he left, what’s the difference if Kane leaves to Man City? A lot of fans was really angry at Rose for making his interviews, what’s the difference now?

If Kane leaves for a British club I will lose all my love for him. I won’t hate him same way I don’t hate Walker, but I won’t care for him anymore same way I don’t care for Walker anymore

The club will always be ahead of any player, we support the club not the individual player

Having said all that I still think Kane will be here next season. He will try his best to get a move to Man City but I don’t think it will happen

The price for United should be no less than 200m.

It's taken us god knows how long to become on an equal par as them (get into the top 4 without them), so if we sell them our best player it just means we accept our place in the chain. Only way it becomes remotely acceptable is if it allows us to go and buy three real quality attacking players.

100m only allows you to bring in a couple of attacking players with potential

£100m is a ridiculously low price!

I love Jack Grealish, but Villa apparently want around £80m for him!

Palace for years were wanting around £70m for Zaha. Harry Maguire cost £80m!

Sorry, but Harry Kane, with not only everything he does for Spurs, but everything he means to Spurs, shouldn't be leaving for anything under 200m.

Imagine the new manager, who has apparently been our no.1 target all alone according to ITK, going from coming into work with Kane to him being sold.

It's going to be a hard summer but I just see the club resisting it for 12 months unless an outrageously good offer comes in

Genuinely think all this will just make levy dig in more. The timing from Kane is dreadful but 100% think Nevilles fucked him. He’s clearly the sky source and I reckon they’ve pulled forward the interview release date forwards to get the ball rolling. United will get Sancho, There’s absolutely no chance on earth levy or Kane entertains Chelsea. He obviously wants Pep and City but like carragher said in his article the cost of the deal is actually pretty bad business for most clubs

I really can’t see citeh happening certainly this season. Commercially and more it makes no sense. New manager coming in, ambitions to challenge etc, just can’t see club allowing him to strength our rivals. Three years on contract with ‘no clauses’ in this area. Just can’t see it for 12 months at least.
Hope so, obviously, but this is very similar (not identical) to the Bale situation.

The idea that Levy sees City as our rivals is absolutely fucking hilarious and sad at the same time.

I don't think Neville / Sky have fucked him over at all - this is Kane's way of forcing a move without actually handing in a transfer request, IMO.

Kane and his agents knows he needs to make some power moves as Spurs / Levy would never sell him willingly if a bid came in and Kane kept quiet.

Anyone know if the Spurs press officer would have been present at this interview?

Not sure how it works....but quite calculated to get Harry on the golf course and in essence away isolated from the crew.....

Yeah it's a clear a 'come and get me' to City as it gets, whilst still trying to be balanced enough and respectful enough to Spurs fans should he have to stay next season.

Onus is now on Man City to put their money where their mouth is, Levy will not do it on the cheap and nor should he. Has to be in the £150m ballpark as a minimum.

I'm sure Harry planned that

what a bizarre interview. the timing, the content, the outcry over it.

I’ve been ‘meh’ about Spurs for a while, now somehow Harry has made me feel ‘meh’ about him too.

just all really odd.

It can be argued that the timing of the whole thing stinks, in fact the whole ESL debacle and sacking Jose a few days before a final is equally rotten. It's clear Harry wants to move, not because he doesn't love the club, but because he wants to win medals, Harry's right, and most on here would agree, the Club missed a big opportunity in recent years to really push on, for whatever reasons. (they have been debated on here ad infinitum). Harry is at an age now where he is at a crossroads in his career, and it's up to the Senior Management at the Club not only to convince him, but prove to him he can achieve what he wants to achieve in his career at Spurs. You can't blame him for jealous glances at the success others have had since they have moved on, the pinnacle of elite sport is glory, something that is in short supply at Spurs.

Whether I love Kane or not, the timing of this interview is extremely selfish and may have cost us Europa. Even if I think the board needed to be put under pressure, it's still selfish from Kane.

I'm also now at the point of accepting that he's gone this summer in my mind and hoping to be surprised if he's still here.
