I can’t comprehend the ‘life must go on’ comparisons with the likes of Carrick, Berbatov, Modric, Bale etc. HK is different, he was brought through our academy and he is a Spurs fan with actual attachment to the club - it’s just unacceptable for him to move within the PL, and I hope to bloody hell our chairman sees it that way too.

Get your dosh out Joe Lewis, invest heavily in the coaching and playing infrastructure, and do whatever you can in the 3 years left of his contract to convince him to do what he should, as any decent loyal Spurs fan would, help his boyhood club* by staying.

*that Arsenal photo of him aside... ?

The ball is very much in Levy's court. And Levy does everything his way, at his own pace and rarely speaks publicly. So we all need to sit and wait.

Lol at everyone who say he cant force his way out. Remember berbatov? Modric? Bale? Eriksen? Sulk and you will get your way. Simple as that. Levy cant let his biggest asset diminishes its own profit.

I hope he goes to manc. We genuinely arent in the same level
We're not talking about mercenaries here - we're talking about Kane, who has shown absolute loyalty for the club he loves and has been an intrinsic part of his whole life pretty much. I'd be staggered if he tried to force his way out like the players you mentioned.

glad that Neville pointed out that the figure will start with a 2 even if he was joking. He'll still be worth £100m next summer so unless someone ponies up £150m then hes going nowhere.

Slightly difficult listen but doesn’t sound like a man who’s mind is made up to go now/ isn’t open to an agreement (like one more year ). Maybe I’m being naive but I think if he buys in to whoever the new boss will be and whatever the plan is, he’ll give one last throw of the dice. Important to note that he seems to think he has a lot of career left in him too.

And someone still needs to pony up.

I mean, Sky reported it as if he’d have in a transfer request. By the looks of the video he’s not even spoken to the club about it yet, so they clearly jumped on those quotes and ran with something ten times worse than they actually were.

But good of you to mock people, nice to see you get so much pleasure from the notion of being right about our best player wanting to leave. Great fan you are (y)

Im a great fan because I attend every season and have done for years. Direct your annoyance about Kane leaving elsewhere ?

So does everyone realise that the whole breaking news Kane tells Spurs he wants to leave from SSN was actually just lifted from this interview .

What absolutely fucking pricks SSN are.

They've leapt on Kane's interview with the whole I am going to have a chat with Levy, and basically twisted it into the story they have.
Absolutely this.

It’s just realism. Firstly Joe Lewis will never invest a penny in this club because he’s a douchebag who only cares about bettering his own wealth.

This team is done. It needs to be torn apart. Kane wants to go and we need to rebuild. Poch was right, it’s gonna be painful.

Such negativity around the club, people seem to take some perverse delight in willing the worst to happen. It’s genuinely odd.

Poch was right when he said we need to change our mentality. There are enough people outside the club trying to derail us without our own fans joining in.

The mentality that need to change are those that still believe in the 2 charlatans running the club

The be careful what you wish for/ what wonderful facilities we have/ how awful we were in the nineties/ oh doesnt matter if we dont win anything i just want to watch nice football/ go support man city if you want to win trophies ...you know who you are

That is why those 2 clowns hv no presurre to show any ambition and why Berbatov Carrick Walker Bale Modric all left & why Kane is leaving

It's really quite simple. Kane would be happy to leave, think we can all agree on that.

I don't think this is him downing tools of putting a transfer request in. It will all come down to Levy what happens.

Get a ridiculous offer now and let him go, I find this the most unlikely to be honest.

He can point blank refuse and tell H to honour his contract. Then Harry will go it's just a question of when, will he kick up a fuss or will it be a case of waiting a year.

The other choice is to agree to let Harry go providing we are not at an acceptable level next season. The real test for this will be if Levy pushes the boat out with signings this summer and bring In the right manager. If he hopes for the best and just thinks a manager will change things he is in for a rude awakening.

Think everyone needs to accept as things stand Kane will leave at some point, the only way it doesn't is if Levy can change his mind and back it up.

Also Sky and Neville are wankers, they are desperate for Kane to go to United. Whatever happens I hope Daniel point blank eliminates them from being an option.

I think if the manager is who I think it is, and Levy gives him the backing I've heard he will, Harry could well be happy to see where it goes for another year at least.

Fingers crossed. Guess my only worry is Levy will see him as a nice expensive asset who is going to start losing value soon.

For anyone before they go nuts. I’m not saying Harry is going to get worse but he’s going to get older and therefore eventually his price will drop.

Well, it doesn't answer the question that Sky quoted Kane's agent (ck66 - his Brother & Father who manage his affairs), which for me is the real bone of contention. If it was just Sky, then we'd not got as far as we have with this.

Just a quick flick through the last couple of pages and it seems no real grey area either you think he is going or he isn't.
I can't honestly see what BS levy can say that would convince him to stay at this cesspit, I don't think he is after wages because he does alright as it is but the one thing he wants we can't give him.

He's gone man this stinks of Bale 8 years ago.

All this media activity, so much smoke.
The only thing I will say is back in 2010 Rooney made a massive statement saying he wanted to eave United with Chelsea and City interested, all because he felt they weren't showing ambition. City were beating them to the likes of Tevez and Ronaldo left.

Rooney got some assurances and United did better after that.

Levy needs to get the message. A new coach needs to come in and be allowed to seriously bolster the squad but more importantly get those faces out who are dragging the club down. There needs to be fresh energy but also a statement of intent.

That means no transfers dragging on until late August
That means taking a hit on players that are not wanted
That means if you want, say, a Skriniar, pay up, fix the position
