I think the huge loss in income has more to do with it.

No coincidence that the window opened a week ago and no PL clubs are even threatening to spend money

i don’t doubt it. Just that it’s odd that the info is leaked for Spurs.

Surely the point of VAR is that it proves that if Kane is fouled in the box and a penalty is given and VAR agrees, then it was a foul

I think the an issue I've noticed with VAR is that in a marginal decision they tend to back the ref, but referee's seem to trip over themselves to give Man Utd one compared to other teams. Meaning they get more marginal decisions. That Pogba pen against Villa the other night being a prime example. If the referee waved that off I don't think VAR overturns it and gives them a pen, it's then still 1-1 and Villa potentially get something.

There was a clip going around the other night of Pogba telling Shaw he should have dived when he got wrong side of a defender in the box, if any club deserved an article about being canny with VAR it's them!

Hopefully all this noise about them in recent weeks makes refs less likely to do so. Felt like last season team's were so hesitant to give us pens last season because of the noise from some virgins on twitter, still can't believe the rugby tackle on Kane from Lascelles.

I keep on being told to "shut up " about my ideas thats there is an anti spurs agenda but all this with Kane and penalty he should have been given and then Man unt players seem to get penalties we definitely would not be given ditto Salah and Mane .
Only me me more angry with the inconsistencies and favourable decisions for some teams .

The media are anti-everyone. We’re not a special case or target.

I have trouble remembering what room I am in so its unlikely I can remember the name of someone from last year having a pop at me .
In any case I dont want to remember because I come on here to let of steam and do not take people having a go at my views to heart .
I prefer to air my views and take on others views whether in agreement or directly opposite camp as I say I dont take it personal and for that reason these back and forth arguments are best not taken seriously as some people say something in the heat of the moment and instantly regret their posting . As for the media treating everybody equal well I openly admit to some form of paranoia as I think differently as it suits my agenda as opposed to what see as the media's agenda . Also I can take people having a pop at me for my views ; this is not an Oxford debating society this just a bunch of spurs fans airing their views and sometimes their frustration .

I'm starting to worry about this season. His stats are crazy, but the team's attack is generally very hit and miss

Seriously concerned that a big offer from someone like City at the end of the season will turn his head if we're not in the CL

He would score 50+ a season in that team. KDB consistently puts on a plate for his teammates and they consistently fluff their lines. He and Kane are both likely to break the assist record this season.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he is off this summer. He needs to be playing somewhere that allows him to score goals. He used to score a lot of goals in the last 30 minutes of games but is run into the ground by current tactics.
