Wow he seems to be adding a lot to his game and quickly. That first goal was clever - the ball should have been moved to him a fraction earier but he read it, timed his run and used the slight bobble to dink it over the keeper. Very composed. Unlike those players you often see who seem to freeze unless everything happens in an instant - you know - "too much time". Defoe would have been offside. Footballing intelligence plus some sweet footwork and good strength. Boding well.

The boy is certainly developing nicely - expert composure, finishing, movement, and impressive speed too.

Like others, I think playing with Soldado could really be the key. Upfront on his own I think he struggles, mostly because there is a lack of movement from others so he is either isolated or when he comes deep it only crowds the play.

Imo it may not only because of soldado link up play. But kane is a better player as no. 10 than no. 9

I just saw on twitter he's scored 16 in 21 for club and country this season. That can't be right....can it?

Sounds it. He has scored about 10 for us. Got 2 against France, 1 against Croatia, Moldova and Lithuania and I think he scored against San Marino.

Another cracking performance! I know this will sound like hyperbole but he reminded me a lot of Bale today, in the way he picked up the ball in space and drove right at the heart of the Everton defence, all power and pace Looked to have gained a yard or two as well, but then again might just mean Everton dont have the quickest of players.

I remember a while ago Gary Neville said to become a great player you have to effect every match you play in. At the minute Harry is certainly doing that.

After seeing him pay against Man U academy I said 3 or 4 years ago that he'll captain England one day. I stand by that.

People laughed at the time.
